First we had...

Jessica McNamee as Sonya Blade... who is still a rank of lieutenant at age 35....

Joe Taslim age 42 (Sub-Zero)

Hiroyuki Sanada age 63 (Scorpion)... an old man with like a 7 year old child and a newborn.

And NOW we have Kark Urban at age 51

Nothing personal against these actors, but is the casting director an idiot or are they not planning on keeping this series for very long in order to introduce the kombat kids in the future? The third movie is going to be called what? Geriatric Kombat?

On one hand I agree but it is also very freeing in a sense to have star power/capability be put before age accuracy.
