Character Select Screen Animations

Hey Everyone. First time poster here with a question that may have have an obvious answer that I am just not seeing. How does one get the character animations to work on the select screen (as seen in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WiZRzUkP1NQ )?

Thank you for any help you can provide with this and for the all the help and advise I have gathered from reading this site!

Just tap the button once to select the character without choosing your variant and they'll do that, then you can cancel out and go onto the next one.

Thanks. However when I select a character (local or towers) it's just a still picture. Maybe a software update?

What system are you on? Works fine on PS4

Just checked Youtube, seems to be just how it is on Switch, must be a limitation of the system.

I believe the Switch is a less power machine than other gaming systems so that is likely the reason. Thank you for your help!

You think those are cool ? Check out the animations on the character select screen of MKX Bad Ass ! Espexially Liu Kang and Kenshi. In MK 11 like Shang Tsungs the most !
