Ideally we get around half the roster, but no matter how many characters are revealed, I hope that there are at least a couple of surprises in the bunch.

I imagine we'll get at least two new characters, in case one is not received too well, then you've got another. I don't expect it to be Kronika, because I think they will use her mystery to keep people invested until a bit closer to the release. It will probably be used to show off Fatalies and stuff, so expect people with particularly brutal Fatalities to make it in. There will be some fan service characters, so maybe someone really popular like Mileena. Baraka's blades are pretty brutal, so if he's in the game, it would not surprise me if he is included. This is in addition to Raiden and Scorpion. I imagine Liu Kang and Sub-Zero will be in there because they are iconic characters. I'd suggest Kitana for the same reason too. That takes us up to 9 characters. Throw in Sonya and Cassie Cage so you can talk show off the time-bending story elements and have some more female characters in there. Erron Black seems pretty popular and cool, so throw him in too.

There's a good solid 12 that encompass the whole series.

Hopefully we see a lot of character reveals. I'm hoping for the range of 10-12. How awesome is it that we are having this kind of discussion again? This is fun...I missed MK and MKOnline.

My guess is the reveal will have the full roster.

Of course, knowing Boon, he could easily show about 12 characters, then leave the rest unknown until about a week prior to release, just to be a troll.

See, I don't like this way of thinking. Why in the heck do we have to have Scorpion and Subzero revealed right off the bat, every single time? Leave 'em out of the promos for once.

I'm thinking 6-8. Raiden, Scorpion, Subzero (or Frost as a surprise!), and then three others. I honestly don't care I'm gonna rewatch it on youtube regardless a million times.

April's not far away at all! Especially since this was just annouced. Like, rememeber the wait for MKX with the teases and the sparce character reveals and people getting antsy and that one random poster on here who thought they were Tanya and how everyone was like "FUJIN PLEASE."
