on your ps4 plugin a old set of head phones jack into the port

that's is you will never hear any other player again , yes they will be muted forever

works for all game play online

sorry , on your ps4 controller plug in any head set it does not have to have a mic it will mute

any and all talking on there side , go to the dollar and get a set of dollar ear bubs and cut off the head phone buds

But why is that better than creating a party? It's definitely better for anyone who plays with headphones. And even if you don't, it's better because you don't have to deal with all the cables.
