Hey guys! Do you have a map of all the realms in Mk I mean like one big map that includes eartchrealm position maybe in the center and all the others around it like Out world, Netherrealm Chaoseralm etc.

Is there such a map? If not, is there a lore specifically explaining where are those realms in relation to earthrealm? How exactly does one realm merge with another when one wins the tournament? I wanna know the mechanics behind it.

How much realms are there in total? Did Earthrealm won 10 battles at one point and conquered another realm then merged with it? If so where I can read about it? Any lore what each of those realms was/is will be greatly appreciated.

The number of realms is infinite like planets in the universe. There's no map. Joining realms requires opening interdinemsional gates (a big portal) that will merge both worlds together and stay open to sustain the binding. And no, Earthrealm never won 10 MK tournaments. You can start reading on MK wikipedia or a site in your local language if it's avaliable. Local sites are usually run by passionates that take time filling information and giving insight on various subjects.

I was asking for somekind of map construct even if its theoretical. Maybe there are explanations in the lore where outworld, edenia, netherrealm, chaosrealm etc are located in relation to earth. Obviously netherrealm is hell. And I'm asking for the known realms like the ones I mentioned. I think zaterra was inside earth.

As stated above, they’re different dimensions, not planets that can ever be reached by any conventional transportation, you need a dimensional portal to get there. Therefore a map is not possible as they do not exist on the same geographical plane.

Also NRS play it loose with many locations, the Sea of Blood was in Outworld in Shaolin Monks, it’s in Netherrealm in MK11.

I got that but where are those dimensions? I'll give you example with the Dark Tower movie. You get to other realms by portals only but they are all located on a single plane. Each circle contains one or more realms. So I imagine the MK realms are in similar order, not just random places in the universe that are not connected. Also I'm asking if any of you can link me with detailed maps of each realm if you know any.

Um lol... each realm can be best mapped by mapping each realm onto a single piece of paper, just as we do for our solar system and deep space models lol. You just take a theorotical model of the realm blur the edges and boom.

The closest thing to what you're asking for in terms of detailed information of the realms and sort of a map for each realm, as it relates to MK games, is here: https://mortalkombat.fandom.com/wiki/Category:Realms

Thanks a lot man! I guess I need to play all the games, read all the books and watch all the tv series again to gather crumbs of additional info about the realms. It would be dope if someone of the devs makes something like a series where he explains in detail the creation and the cosmology of the mk universe as well as giving lots of details dor each realm. One of the Diablo devs is doing this right now for Diablo and its very interesting.

You'll never get it. NRS don't have good writers and what they do is basically throw everything to the trashbin the second it doesn't fit their story at the moment. And then, when all goes sideways they reboot and start with MK1, 2 and 3 again because it's safe.

So do you know if there is possibility for paetial realm absorption if that realm looses 10 MK's? For example if we loose Outworld gets only Antarcrida? Also, did Earthrealm won 10 Mk tournaments ever and added land/realm to it? I don't get the concept here help me out guys. Why is somebody deciding to invade and conquer others but the outcome is determined by the tournament? Can Earthrealm invade Outworld then? What happens if several other realms invade Earthrealm at the same time? If we win 10 tourneys against Outworld after we invade it and merge, how is it considered Earthrealm and not Outworld? What's the difference, besides Shao Kahn ruling over the Earth, which is fucking preferable to the current goverments?

I already wrote in my first post:

There are no half-measures. The winner takes it all. Mortal Kombat was created because Rayden begged the Elder Gods for a chance to defend Earth so Earth was always defending, never attacking (don't look at the new timeline, it's trash and will ultimately land in the bin).

If you really want to understand the lore of MK start reading the lore from MK1 to MK:Armageddon. I'm not reccomending new lore because it's based on the old one and because of bad writers they just take some here and some there, make a cluster out of it and when it goes sideways they reset and return to the beginning. Happend three times already so don't even bother with the new timeline (MK9 forward). If you understand the old lore the new bits will just jump in ther places.

Even the old lore got fuzzy and ridiculous from MKDA to MKA. I liked it ending at MKM:SZ/MK4 .

MKDA to MKA just felt like a bunch of prequel bullshit to give the devs a way to continue on a IP that was getting very stale back then.
