Jax v Jade? (Spoilers)

In the Kombat Last today, did anyone else hear Sonya's dialogue with Jade? Sonya asked her what side she was on and Jade replied "I do whatever I must to protect Kitana" or something like that. Sony's followed that up with "Does that include attacking Jax?"

If they're chatting about it, it's something that must happen at the beginning of the game. Maybe Jax is sidelined with an injury?

Might also be a reference to MK9 when Jade did actually attack Jax during the MK2 section. Might be a similar situation to the MKX Johnny Cage/Kano intro where Johnny asks him “Didn’t you throw me off a bridge once?”

I suppose this is more likely than my original thought which was "oh, Jax is mentioned. Someone told me that there will be no NPC's in storymode, and that the characters you see in story mode will be playable. This means JAC from the leak does mean JACkson briggs!"

Then I realized Kronika is an NPC, and I don't know where I got this "NO NPC's in storymode" from.
