Kitana was on the leaked character select screen. Kitana just has not been "officially" announced as playable character yet.

It took them this long just to confirm sacred cows like Liu Kang, Kung Lao, and Jax. Netherrealm will confirm Kitana when they feel like it.

Dumb thread. She's not especial. Frost, Cetrion, Kollector all have been seen in trailers and they haven't had their renders released. Liu Kang and Kung Lao were seen in the first gameplay trailer and JUST got confirmed.

We've seen less of Cetrion than anyone else in the game.

There's no need to freak out about Kitana.

Why do people keep talking about Frost? When was she seen in a trailer?

Frost was in the story trailer earlier this month. She was the white robed figure with Kronika when she approached Kahn for an alliance. They're basically hiding her in plain sight

The leaked character select screen looks accurate so there should be no worries about Kitana. They can't reveal everyone at once.

I went back and watched that trailer. I still don’t see how people think that’s Frost.

You can see her mask while Kronika is talking to Shao Kahn, right after he says "They shall!"

The mask is almost identical to the mask she's seen wearing in the leaked roster pics.

Kitana is a base roster material. They are simply saving the best reveal for last. :)

God Frost is literally the most interesting thing about story mode. I really wish they hurry up and reveal her.

Pffft they’d never make Kitana DLC she will be in base roster definitely, perhaps they are saving her till last because there is a twist in her story similar to how Jax appears to be on team Kronika for reasons unknown.

Well, I wouldn't worry about Kitana. They have still some characters left to reveal. Even if they are going for the "reveal all the characters before release". And considering the fact that Kitana is probably the "big bad guy" in the game now, she'll probably will be a sub-boss (probably would have been a boss character even they weren't going with the Kronika story). Lots of probably's there :D.

Thats just stupid when people think the big bad is going to be a regular character (Liu kang, Raiden, Kitana, Mileena... I heard it all) Not including Deadly alliance which didnt have bosses and shang was a boss before. Kitana-Kahn is on the main roster because the kustomize screen shows her in the beta but Kollector is most likely the sub-boss as he has 4 arms etc and is big. The grandmaster Medallion and the Amulet probably have a huge impact on the story. Who is Cetrion? Is that really frost? Is kollector his code name or actual name? Is he playable? Is rain, Mileena or shinnok on the roster? Where is Kitana? Whats with the cyborgs? Is the roster 25 or 29? Too much unknown about the final roster yet this late in the game.

The trophies were just announced and all the roster has been confirmed. Kitana and Frost are in the base roster. So chill out.
