I like her, she looks more dangerous than ever, also powerful. The intro is great. I do hope the Kitana Fangirl variation has implications in the story, like a revenge against D'Vorah in Mileena way...

I think exactly the same . I don’t recognise Kitana at all in MK11. In MKx she was so perfect, even the revenant and dark empress skins were just outstanding. In MK11 I’m not fan of any of the skins shown. It’s the first time I have this feeling about her character.

This is the best I've seen her look recently. Both human and revenant form alike. I did love her MKX costume as well. MK9 Kitana can take a hike though, glad MK got female models right after those atrocities in 2011.

Seeing the outfit in game, I like it more than I thought. I still hope they have better costumes for her. I like the shade of blue, looks nice in game.
I'm a fan of her MKX alt outfit, so hoping something in that design will make it in the game.

Prefer her MKX primary costume as that just stunned me when I first saw it. Like the MK11 costume a lot and her face is beautiful but MKX primary is still my fave.

Of course not. And it doesn't matter at all what is the source of her name etc. This is how she looked originally and this is how she should stay. And Kitana is not the only character whose race was changed because of cultural marxism. They did the same with Sub-Zero, Skarlet and Jade.

They didn't change it because of politics. They just decided to change it because the character has always been based around Asian cultural motifs so it makes sense. This franchise has always changed up the basic physical features of characters from installment to installment. Just look at Jade or Tanya.

Character's faces, features, and skin tones CHANGE all the time in this franchise. Kitana is an Asian inspired character regardless of how her face looked in the past and they changed her to look more traditionally Asian, you want to know why that's ok? BECAUSE SHE'S NOT REAL- she's also not from EARTH- them changing her to fit the influences behind her character is fine.

Comparing this to them making Liu Kang "White" is idiotic- Liu Kang is from EARTH, his EARTH-BASED culture/race is sewn intrinsically into who he is as a character as well as his LORE. So no, they can't just make Liu a Blonde and blue eye'd twink for funsies. Not the same.
