If it's like the previous games, you can pick and choose which you want to download. But if you only want the MK characters, you should probably just buy those ones.

I am in the same boat pal ! Shang is my favorite MK character and I dont want to wait the extra week. But if we do not want to support guest charades you paying for then and then not downloading them means nothing as WB got your money and that's all that matters. So as painful as it will be for me. I will wait the extra week and only buy the MK characters. If others enjoy the guests all the power to them. I am pissed there are three of em' and still no Fujin, Reiko, Ashrah, Havik or Lei Mei. So many MK characters that we haven't seen since Armageddon that need a turn in the spotlight ! I have said this several times now as a horror movie freak, why doesn't NRS make the ultimate Horror Movie Fighter ? All the most popular horror movie mascots fighting it out with all the gore and fatalities from MK? Could be NRS' third fighting series ?
