i ordered it online, and it is said “the Kombat pack” will include 6 characters. Does it mean each Kombat Pack 6 characters? (Even if I doubt it lol)

I think it will be $40. It will be £35 from a retailer in the UK.

I don't think they have made all dlc characters when the game is finished. Are they already planned? Pretty sure they are, but not yet developed.
I don't like dlc either, certainly not at those prices. I also like everything to be on the disc, so I always wait for a full edition. But I can also understand why they do dlc's. As arguments go, it is true that games prices have stayed pretty much the same since I was a child, while they cost more to make. Although the "gamerbase" has also gotten bigger, which still makes them a good profit (because otherwise they wouldn't be doing it), I understand the need for for extra revenue. It just boils down to the right amount of content for the right price.

That said, a friend of mine pre-orderd the game for me and I don't know which version he pre-orderd. The store also know they are not allowed to brief me on which version I'm going to get.
I got MK XL for 20€, so if I've gotten the base game, I'll wait 'till the komplete edition gets cheap and buy it that way. But I'm not paying 40€ for 6 characters.

Well, Shao Kahn is fully developed, in the base game, and plays a big role in the story. But he is locked behind a pay wall. He's not Downloadable Content - he's Locked Content.

There is no "need" for paid DLC / microtransations. Games themselves still make millions in profits. This whole thing about "games cost more to make so they need to charge more and include microtransactions on top" is outright false. And in fact, game prices HAVE gone up outside of the US. Here in the UK AAA titles used to be £30. These days they're £55. Almost double.

If Reiko is included in one of the packs, I am going to purchase it in a heartbeat, irregardless of the price. But I am not paying that amount for bullshit characters that have no business being in a Mortal Kombat game like Pennywise, or Spawn. I have ZERO interest in them.

I never purchased Leatherface, or Alien. I never once played as them, and I don’t think I missed out on anything.
