Which mode would like to see for, MKXI. As for i, I would like to have. Konquest Mode for this upcoming title. Which would you prefer.

Story mode for sure. In my opinion, Konquest would work better as a fully fledged game like Shaolin Monks.

Konquest, not even a question, being able to explore the realms and talk to everyone was a blast(minus playing as shujinko)
and in Armageddon it was actually really cool playing a action adventure paltformer then mk fights for bosses.
anything that add something than just basic fighting, is a plus for me

Story mode. I play Mortal Kombat for fighting, not fetch quests. They can liven it up a little by throwing in a few QTEs end some Challenge Tower style fights every now and then. Nothing too drastic...it needs to make sense in the confines of the story...but enough of a departure from the standard one on one. They can throw in tag matches, gauntlets and a few other things.
A small adventure mode would be welcome, but no. "Konquest Mode" or an adventure mode should not replace story mode under any circumstance.

Story Mode for sure. If we ever have konquest mode again, it needs to be a standalone adventure or RPG game, limited to the confines of just being a side game outside of the confines of the core game and mechanics it's always just felt lacking. Lots of potential but it needs to be the primary focus to succeed like that imo. i would love a standalone title though. but for the next mainline game i definitely like the route they have taken with Story mode. And hopefully they will continue to improve on what story mode can do.

Both. Story mode for its purposes and Konquest Mode in place of the Krypt to unlock all items.

Konquest mode but i'd like it to be simple. Not a big game or on it's own.
Maybe more like a ps2 game instead. with simple mechanics like MK:SM and not taking it self too serious. Just a fun MK adventure that has all the realms and characters to interact with.

make it a open sandbox rpg where choices affect the outcome similar to the very first mass effect . i would also love for this to introduce create a fighter for that particular mode
