i wouldn't mind a shaolin monks type game again, but they should always have 2d 1vs fighting in every mortal kombat game.

Does anyone know if this new game will work on xbox 360?

it's the only system i have.

One part of me is at least curious to imagine MK11 back in full 3d but then again I like 2.5 better for numerous reasons especially the klassic feel and I know 3d kombat had its perks i guess like death traps and side stepping.

But then again side stepping made it kind of krappy for special move execution and some kombos.Maybe NRS can create a killer full 3D next gens but as of right now,I don't want another bland MK vs DCU side stepper.

No disrepect to MK4,MKDA,or MKD but MKA...no respect for you!

I completely and EXPLICITLY agree with that. I swear to all that is good, playing 2D on a Next Gen console just feels stagnant. It's like shooters, I'VE BEEN PLAYING FPS SINCE LIKE DOOM in '94, >>"WHY"<< AM I STIIILLL RESTRICTED TO THIS RETRO PERSPECTIVE??? O.O

Get with the times NRS, players that are still "good" with the 2D spec & fps, are . just . not . gamers. (At least not CORE gamers) -That's why GTAV put in 1st/3rd toggle, and why Star Wars Battlefront is going to be 1st/3rd toggle. Side-scrolling and FPS perspective is antiquated. I can not emphasize that enough. I just can't. (It's basically imho a novelty item and should remain so)

Again, I swear to all that is mighty bro', everyone that's trolling your BOSS ASS suggestion ARE NOT core gamers. That's why they don't get it, they're "FANBOYS". Period.

Make MK11 "Side-scrolling/3D Arena" togglable. OR just implement a specific option to join online rooms that are designated "Retro 2D SS"
