The developer Kombat Kast stream returns on a Friday teasing the prospect of more from Noob Saibot and perhaps another Mortal Kombat 11 reveal! Find out what's in store by watching it with us live - right here:

With less than three weeks until the release of the game, the unseen options are beginning to dwindle. Kitana has featured in trailers, but is yet to receive a proper announcement. Players are also anticipating Frost and another as yet unannounced fighter. Pre-order exclusive Shao Kahn is yet to receive a gameplay spotlight, likewise for Erron Black or the notably elusive D'Vorah.

Turns out it is going to be Friday 5th @ 3pm CST / 8pm UTC.
Click this link for you local timezones (it defaults to BST as that is my local time).
Daylight savings just kicked in for some regions, so it'll be good to double check!

I suspect it will be Noob (as they promise last week), Cetrion (as she was just revealed by GameInformer), and Frost (as she was teased for the mobile game).

So the Mobile tease turned out to be MK11 Sub-Zero.

Still doesn't rule her out, but yeah... kinda bummed if we don't get to see her. Looking forward to it.

Is the Brotherhood of Shadow still a thing in this continuity or did they forget that and now it's just Shinnok, Quan Chi and his merry band of minions/revenants?

Ah damn. Got home quickly yesterday to be in time for the Kast, only to realize it would be today. Now only to read it will be tomorrow :/.

Wasn't it Noob-Saibot, Cetrion and Frost that would go in the Kast? Or was Frost just wishfull thinking of some?
Should show something about other playmodes.

I speculated it was those three based on the reasons I gave in the first post.

Noob is a defininte. Certion is also highly likely.
Frost... was a guess based on a tease that turned out to be for Sub-Zero. And also wishful thinking on my part too.

The tweet announcing the Kast says there will be a reveal of some kind... so... speculate as you please on that.

Yes I thought that too at first.... The mobile game is an RPG card game 3 on 3 battles that has over 120 characters to unlock and every race unlockable. The game is extremely addictive and one of my favorite spin off games since shaolin monks.

Yeah I thought Noob and Frost for sure in the Kombat Kast that Frostbitten line was very misleading. Still hoping for a frost reveal tomorrow though could be a Lin Kuie themed Kast with Noob and Frost featured

See, you guys all get it. It's easy to assume Frost when you see "Frostbitten".
Yet, someone on twitter was going on an angry rant at me for that very same assumption.

I made an educated guess that Frost would be in the Kombat Kast and they went on a massive angry rant saying things like "Frost is not confirmed!", "Frostbitten is about ice and therefore it's about SZ!", and that they can "GUARANTEE Frost will not be on the Kast". The only evidence they gave for that last part is that Noob is going to be on the Kast. *facepalm*

I don't think we're going to see any gameplay from D'Vorah, Erron Black, Shao Kahn, or Frost before the game is released. Especially if Frost is cyberised - I'm doubting they'll even show the render for that, let alone gameplay.

I don't really care who they show, I just hope at least one of the following happen.

-they say they'll reconsider custom variations for ranked and somehow make it work (by showing what abilities you chose pre-match for example),

-the "surprise reveal" is unlockable characters (after the interview with Ed Boon I think this is still possible)

-they reveal someone we haven't seen yet as DLC, maybe a male ninja like Smoke or Rain unless these are unlockable characters they want to stay hidden.

One can hope right? Well, all of this would make this game perfect for me.

They did say that Shaokahn would be shown on the Kast, during a previous kast.

With that tweet in mind, it sounds like they were trying to surprise players with certain characters, likely Frost.

With D'Vorah, I have no clue why they would keep her shelved off for so long. Kitana's another one though. I'm honestly surprised we went this long without seeing a reveal trailer for her. I would've expected it a lot sooner. I guess we'll just have to wait and see which characters they show and which they don't.
