The forge still confuses me a little to be honest. I understand you can craft konsumables, which I'm not really interested in since I already have a ton. I crafted the amulet to open that one door, but other than that, I'm not sure if I ever need to use the Forge for anything again. Is the gear that is craftable at the forge also available through random chests or other means, or are they ONLY craftable at the forge? That's my main question and would make all the difference I guess. At this point, I've only used the Forge once and don't see a reason to use it again.

In general though, I think they did a good job on the Krypt. I enjoy the lore references and easter eggs, and it's kinda fun going to the shrine after a long session of Tower grinding to see if I can finally get that Skarlet skin or mask(less) I've been hoping for.

I'm not fond of the Krypt. I look through all of the gear and costumes I'm still missing for these characters and they all say "found in the krypt". I still don't have the maskless option for Sub-Zero, and a ton of other costumes and gear that are all supposedly "In The Krypt".

Shang_Heihachi is particularly pissed because he hit a glitch with skeleton keys. They're limited - there's only as many skeleton keys in the entire Krypt as there are locked gates - and he hit a bug where a gate he previously unlocked had reappeared, and since he unlocked it again he can't open the last locked gate in Goro's lair (which has a soul chamber behind it) because keys don't ever get looted again.

I didn't experience an issue that severe, but having spent millions to restock the krypt only to get the same 8 konsumable items in different mixes and quantities in every single chest is NOT worth the gold sink, or the effort to go back into the krypt. It had potential and wound up being a huge let down.

If you are restocking Krypt chests and only getting konsumables, that means you're done with chests and should be hitting up the shrine.

Yeah I figured as much. Anything between 74000 and 99000 gets gear pieces so I've been covering that range just in case certain items are locked behind certain prices. As for skins, I feel like I have seen the same skins pop up when I drop 100k many, many times. I know that you're always supposed to get skins you don't already have, but I know that there's been an Erron Black skin that popped up for me at least 4 times, along with 2 kitana duplicates and 3 kano duplicates.

Yeah same here, I've gotten many duplicates. Someone on GameFaqs said the developers are aware and will get it fixed, but I'm not sure what their source was, and it wasn't fixed in the last patch, so I'm not sure what's up.

Only thing i am dissapointed about is the gear and skins. Did a lot of new chests and still nothing. I still don’t have regular army for sonya. My favorite gear. And i dont know what to do anymore
