Your entire post is based on this theoretical assumption.

I respect your opinion, but I'm sticking with mine. grin

I'd call it educated opinion based on hands on experience & knowledge in the same field. And opinion is all we have to go on when we're trying to identify a mystery with no actual facts.

If you've got an animal/species you can't easily identify, and you take it to a vet or zoologist, and they ID said animal, you don't KNOW... per say, that that person is correct. They may not even know if they're correct themselves, and tell you they're giving you their best guess. You're kind of both just assuming the person's knowledge and experience in the field of zoology has given them enough of a clue to be able to make an educated assumption of the animal's species.

And that's all I'm doing here. *Shrug* I could be wrong. I don't think I am. Time will tell. *Shrug Again*

I'm sure zoologists have mis-ID'ed species. But it is my opinion as a graphic artist that that is a legitimate render of the same Scorpion model. You don't have to agree with it, but I thank you for respecting it.
