All the fight trailers are usually between 2 fighters who are enemies so the trailer leads me to wonder if there is a beef there now.i see 2 possibilities....raiden being pissed at scorpion for doing so many things against his and earthrealm fighters wishes......or them going back 2 the first time line story where scorpion was chosen to be champion of the elder gods but this time instead of sent on onaga,sent on raiden.quan chis ending in xl i think could be a possible hint at this.in a hidden,misdirected ed boon kind of way of course lol.cant wait to see if these to have serious issues now.

I think Raiden and Scorpion will be working together as hinted in the arcade endings of both in MKX. They probably chose Raiden in the trailer instead of Sub-Zero to mix it up. In MKX Scorpion and Sub-Zero were allies not enemies.

Did anyone else notice that the second Scorpion has the same attire as the second (undead) Scorpion from Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero? His costume is the same as Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, but his mouthpiece is from Mortal Kombat II.

I think good Raiden will return and this darkened neutral Raiden is just a phase. I heard a suggestion that one of the Scorpions or the Raiden in the trailer could be Shang Tsung, because of the location it's in and it's unlike gods to kill like that. However, i'm doubtful of this (is Raiden like some fallen god or part demon now? His status now he's currently dark is unclear).
