I'd prefer them as seperate characters obviously but I even this makes me very excited.

Using Shang Tsung as essentially another tri-borg would be the biggest waste, and most insulting use, of this iconic character. I sincerely hope this is not the case.

I do not intend on buying Shang Tsung just to end up playing as Ermac or Reptile. If I buy Shang Tsung, I expect to play as Shang Tsung.

From what I've heard in past developer interviews, I fully expect Shang Tsung to morph. Just not sure if it's limited to characters not playable in the game or if it covers the whole roster, then some.

Chameleon could of been the quad-Borg of the ninjas instead amd is a canon character that can also have a decent story too.... Don't waste that in shang tsung.

I would much rather Chameleon, and I would prefer Chameleon in that regard.

Hell, maybe if we're lucky, Chameleon will actually be one of the 6 DLC characters. That is to say if this 'Borg' mess is really happening.

I really dont wan't Shang to be a compilation of ninjas. But the fact that there are a total of 5 variation slots means you could have 1 slot for each of them. Let's hope this doesn't turn out that way.

Well that happened. They Triborged Shang and the pallet swaps.

I don't mind it. Seeing those other ninjas in the klassic costumes does make me want have them in the game, but it is what it is. If someone really doesn't want to use those ninjas, they could steal the opponent's soul and morph into them instead, or use all the other moves he has. The little green soul projectile looked cool and he's got the fireballs. I'm sure we can all find a loadout to enjoy.

I'm a bit tolerant of how it's done.

It's much less like Tri-borg, as all the ninjas are merely reduced to special moves. It's still Shang Tsung doing all the fighting, and with that I am pleased.
