So no Reptile as it seems... I know he was s*** on a lot... Design and storywise and people nowadays do not care about him.

But for me.he always will be the badass green ninja and first secret character ever and I find it sad that he won't be in according to the leaks

Alone for his role in the first MK movie he will be always be my number one.

Still think it was a mistake trying to make him full reptile somehow because it hurt him a lot

A number of fan favorites won't make the cut. Just not enough spots. He'll definitely be in the next game.

Reptile isn't just a fan favourite (and in recent time never has been) but for me he is one of the core members of the lore of MK.

Somehow the original MK1 combatants are in... Like in the past games as well... But maybe he will be DLC or a secret character... If not give me a reason why he isn't there... Onaga or something.

Same goes for Mileena

He is a great guy candidate for DLC

I agree with op, the original cast of Mk1 should come back in the every game

They have a roster of 60+ characters to choose from. Ultimately Reptile and Mileena are classic characters that are competing against other classics.

And realistically, if you're not Scorpion or Sub-Zero, and maybe Raiden, a spot's not guaranteed.

And Johnny and Sonya.

OP, he has a good shot at DLC. There needs to be at least one ninja in DLC.. the roster is skimp on the male ninjas this go around

Honestly MK1 and MK2 characters should appear in every game.

I hope he makes it as dlc. Reptile is an amazing classic character.

Reptile has not been important to the main plot of any game so far, with the exception of being the vessel for Onaga to return. But that was only hinted at, and happened off-screen.

If we truly do get two Kombat Packs of 6- that leaves a whopping 12 DLC spots for Reptile to nab and I honestly can't see Reptile missing out on MK11 entirely. Like I really can't. The last game he missed was Deception and even then the entire plot-point was centered around why. And if we end up getting three packs- then that just increases his chances even more.

That being said, I don't like some of the sentiment I'm seeing of people saying things like "All MK1 characters should be in every game"- I think some characters deserve a break now and again regardless if their a legacy character.

It was a smart move having Shang sit out of MKX- now there's so much buzz and excitement over his return and when he does get revealed everyone is going to go nuts. Compare that to him being revealed if he had been in MKX, most of the fanbase would be like "Oh yeah, Shang is in again- cool. Ok who's next?"

As a fan of the more obscure characters in the MK universe, I don't know how it feels to have my favorite in every single game, hell, I don't even know when I'll ever see them again- that's not something you Reptile fans ever have to fear.

I know that's a small comfort- but you'll be OK. Reptile will never be down for long- I wish I could have that confidence about some of my favorites.

Your not the only one who's bummed out that reptile isn't in. Reptile, and Rain are my top two favorite characters ever and not having either of them in the game really depresses me. We can only hope for dlc my friend.

Yeah I definitely don’t want every character from MK1 and MK2 in every game. Some of them need a game off here and there. I’m far more psyched for Shang Tsung and Noob, for example after they took a game off.

There are some characters that might miss two in a row and that sucks, but I still like a nice variety. It’s been awesome to see them reimagine 3D era characters like Bo Rai Cho and Tanya. They do a great job with them and there are so many others I’d like to seen them try.

I’s also fun getting an obscure character like Tremor or Skarlet. Plus it’s also nice seeing some completely new characters. They did an awesome job in MKX and it looks like they’ll be continuing that trend in MK11.

There are SO many characters to choose from, so why immediately rope off two thirds of the base roster with characters we’ve seen so many times while leaving only ten or so spots for remaining 40+ existing characters, new characters and obscure characters?

Dont get me wrong, the first two games have a lot of my favorites, no question. But I see potential in other characters and I have favorites in post MK2 games, some of which I haven’t seen for several games now. I’d just like to see more of a balance.
