So there's been no hint of Quan Chi so far, but Shao Kahn's look at the end of the MK11 trailer kind of reminds me of the revenant look the dead characters from MK9 had in MKX. Maybe he's gone through the same kind of process? We did see his armor and hammer in the background of Quan Chi's stage in MKX, and that extra large body growing in the pit could have been Quan's attempts to resurrect Kahn for his own uses.

So what does that give us - a resurrected Shao Kahn, infused with revenant powers, supposed to be a slave to Quan Chi. But if Quan Chi's dead, is he free to take this new power and run with it? Or will he have to follow Liu Kang and Kitana's orders? Maybe he'll challenge them for control of the Netherrealm? I could see him wanting to build an army there to reclaim his Outworld empire from Kotal Kahn.

ALSO - anyone else think Raiden's face in the trailer looks like Boon?? Maybe they toned the eyebrows down a touch
