Shang Tsung suddenly not playable!!

So I fired up MK11 on the Xbox One tonite--once the game started--a mini update for Shang Tsung downloaded. I played a couple matches with Scorpion vs Robocop and stuff, then proceeded to play the heck out of the Krypt. When I finally went back to the regular game--Shang Tsung (whom I've already purchased with the Aftermath & Kombat pack combo) could not be used! I can't play Shang Tsung anymore!! Instead--it asks me if I want to buy him!! Trying that--the game says I already own it and can't re-download!! WHAT THE HECK??? Has this happened to anyone else today??? HELP ME, RHONDA! HELP!! :(

Have you gone into your MK11 Xbox One management options and uninstalled him then reinstalled him that way? I had the forced update too, but I don't play him much so I didn't notice. I'll see if mines effected as well.

Hey--thanks for the reply--so I uninstalled him then re-installed--with seemingly no luck. Then I saw I could manage the game's add-ons, and I saw that there were some skins and stuff I hadn't installed yet. I installed all of them, including a Shang Tsung: Kombat Pack version. After installing that--I seem to have him back. :) So--seems like problem solved!! :D

So--another update to Shang Tsung arrived, and I'm very wary to download it. Anyone else get another update to Shang and have any problems?? I'm pretty afraid if I download yet another update for this one character, I won't be able to play him!!

(edit) So I went for it and downloaded the new update. I can still play Shang! :)
