Well, going by MKX where Goro was far from the dominant larger character he was in MK1, it doesn't really matter. To me Goro, Ferra/Torr and Kotal Kahn can be great, but they played horribly. There was no sense of their size, no feel to it and since the game plays already kind of like you're controlling heavy characters it's even worse. Shao Kahn will be a bit bigger. I don't think we'll see a shokan, maybe Sheeva as DLC but doubt it. Also Ferra/Torr will probably not be in anymore. I think Shao & Kotal will be the only 2 'larger' characters.

I would be pretty thrilled to see Kintaro and Onaga in the roster as playables. Neither character has had a proper moment to shine in the series I don’t think and feel they could be done some justice.

I would be so happy if Sheeva showed made it into this game. I actually used to play as her quite a bit as a kid. I always liked that she was a female larger monster type character. Ed's tweet the other day debunking that leaked roster made it sound like the actual roster has some real surprises for us. She would definitely be one character NRS could really surprise people by including, most wouldn't see it coming.

I honestly forgot about Sheeva. Would love to see her back. Good call.

For me I wanna see Sheeva but mainly Motaro with four legs finally.

I'm hoping for Kintaro in this one if they're bringing back some of the less-used characters. To me he's always been more interesting than Goro or Sheeva. What would really be great is if they bring back Motaro on all four legs and make him playable - especially as it'll be on a 2D plane again. I could imagine some badass matchups between Shao Kahn and Motaro with the new gore engine that's rumoured.

Shao Kahn has me excited! I'd really love to see Kintaro make a return and I actually enjoyed Ferra Torr!

Considering all the time-smashing things going on, I wouldn't say no to some characters outside the game. King Gorbak, anyone?
