Its still possible that we may get something at E3. WB might just be tightening up the reigns of what gets revealed and when. EDIT: According to Boon's twitter. Alot of games that were to be revealed at E3 were leaked early. So it could be that WB has them on gag order.

The unveiling of MK11 is imminent with E3 just a few days away.

Not as scarce as you might think. He just retweeted a Maximillian video about what fighting games he was looking forward to at e3(MK11 being his most anticipated). There is precedent for this as he did the same thing back when Max made a video hoping for what amounted to be Triborg. He’s also made a few E3 tweets. The bread crumbs are there. We just gotta be patient.
I’m so damn ready for this.

Exactly. Ed is at E3 and the announcement for MK11 is imminent. His tweets the last several days have been hinting at Rain and friendships returning, along with the actual unveiling of the game. It's happening soon people!

FFS. People seriously need to calm down.
So MK didn't get announced a week before E3 like last time? That doesn't mean anything,
So MK wasn't leaked, like most other games, before E3? That doesn't mean anything.
Calm down. No, we are NOT getting another MK game this year. That was never going to happen. It won't be out until next year. But I can pretty much bet on the next MK being announced at E3 this coming week. Ed's trolling hints on Twitter are pretty much the equivalent of him holding a "mystery envelope" in his hand and rubbing it all over your face, saying "ooooooh, I wonder what's inside?"
Here is the cycle of NRS games:
Future of MK Discussed by Ed Boon - 2009 (just prior to Midway dissolution/WB purchase)
MK Reboot - Announced June 2010. Released April 2011.
Injustice - Announced June 2012. Released April 2013
MKX - Announced June 2014. Released April 2015
Injustice 2 - Announced June 2016. Released May 2017.
There are 4 years between games. The cycle is Announcement Year - Release Year - Announcement Year - Release Year - and so on.
The next Mortal Kombat game WILL be announced this month. Just relax and wait. .

Yea I was disappointed with its absence. It could be shown during the week, since E3 officially starts tomorrow but I believe that it would have been shown during the conference if at all. I am not expecting anything but one can hope.

Well damn. Thought for sure they’d reveal on Sony’s conference. What else is left? Nintendo?

WB has two press conferences, one on Tuesday and the other on Wednesday both scheduled around 4:45 Pacific time. They have 3 games to show off and one game announcement. Guess which game that will be? Relax folks, MK11 will be announced within the next 48 hours and you will all be as giddy as school girls on prom night.

No doubt, just super surprised it wasn’t tonight. WB and Sony have a long history.

Is there a schedule you are looking at? I'd like to see what else there is. Gamespot does not show what studio has what time slot.

Yes I saw the schedule a few days ago, but I can't remember where. I'm pretty sure I got the times correct. I'd just Google it, shouldn't be too hard to find.

Don’t they also have the new Rocksteady title to show off? I’m not gonna hold my breath for MK anymore, can’t handle the disappointment of it potentially not being announced this week lol

Why does everyone think that WB would've announced MK at the Sony conference? It's a cross-platform game. Sony/Microsoft conferences only cover exclusives.

Unfortunately that’s not true. During Sony’s conference they showed Destiny 2, COD Black Ops 4, Residents Evil 2 and both companies showed off Kingdom Hearts while MS showed CyberPunk, Devil May Cry and many more which are coming to both systems.
Im still hoping MK gets a look in but it’s seeming more and more unlikely.

Chill people, WB owns Nethrrealm studios and they are holding their own press conference. It's not rocket science, that is when MK11 will be revealed.

Per James Fink, as close to any official word we are likely going to get as he personally knows Ed and Co., MK11 still coming at some point but not at E3.
