God I hope this leak is real.

This is the roster that will make me buy the game.

It is incredibly solid, with characters from MK1 & 2 only making up a fourth of the roster. Characters from Deadly Alliance have returned, along with most of the new characters from MKX. If this is legit I would be so damn pleased.

A base Roster without Johnny Cage, Sonya, Quan Chi, Shokans, and with too many ninjas is boring.

I'm excited only for Sareena and Fujin.

It's not like the ninjas are palette swaps anymore. They're all unique.

I'm just glad MK1 & 2 characters don't make up half the roster like they did in MK (assuming the leak is legit).

Would be nice to get some deception characters back too, like Havik, Ashrah, Hotaru... but make them more interesting.

ashrah shujinko are the only two id care about i didnt care for havik. id love to see kai from mk4 make a return

This is the problem I have with guest kharacters. Too many MK fighters get left out and lose their chance over ridiculous horror kharacters. I’d rather them just make their own horror fighting game

I guess Ermac became one of Shang's casualties.
I wish that they would have characters from other fighting games as guests instead of Horror film ones. I would love to see Kan-Ra and other KI characters in MK.

I'm guessing that the Kombat Pack is going to be four returning fighters and two guests. My guesses for the returning fighters are Johnny Cage, Sonya, Jax and Kano.

Also, wee got 9 DLC fighters for Injustice 2. Odds are that we'll get a second Kombat Pack so we'll hopefully see Ermac, Mileena and a few others who I'm guessing are Cyrax and Sektor.

Well, MKX had two Kombat packs. So maybe, like X, the second pack will be sold separately.

I fear what they mean by that.

MKX had way too many guest characters. If their idea of 'upping' is adding MORE guest characters, I will be very disappointed.

I believe they will release 6 DLC characters in 2019. Probably more will come in 2020 and beyond.

I really wish they would adopt the Killer Instinct Seasons approach to DLC. Extend the life of the game. Also involve the community with polls on who they should include in the next season.

With Kittelsen being involved in the story, Reiko will probably be a DLC bet since he died in the MKX Comics.

Shang Tsung replacing Ermac makes sense. The parents not being part of the game makes sense, but my gut tells me at least one of them will appear as DLC. My hopes for Havik, Baraka or any other ominous, evil, monster character. NRS will go safe just like with MKX I reckon.

I made a thread about the kombat kids having their parents as variations. Like Kassie cage would have johnny cage and Sonya as variations. Johnny would have his own name tag, voice over dialog and Johnny style variation moves. That way its like DLC but its not DLC. If irs apart of the variations , we might get 6 DLC plus a variation pack (which means even more characters)!
