See above.. with which kharacter you fight in the towers of time? For my little surprise... there are so many great fatalities but I play Kano :-P I can do some good combos with him and he has a good mixture of mid and lows, also he is not to slow.

So far, it's Shao Kahn... But I'm starting to get frustrated using him in vs. Seems like the defacto tactic is to get in on top of him and start going for low kicks or any attack faster than Kahn can counter.
I played a Jacqui earlier. The guy had a mic, and he was telling hhi friend that he was playing against a good Kahn. I beat him twice changing up combos, going for sweeps, maximizing damage. 3rd and 4th matches he basically blocked all attacks, constantly used her ground pound and got on me and I couldn't pull anything off to counter. I'll post a video later, and maybe someone can tell me how to handle this tactic.
I like using him, and I've already gotten 2 Quitalities under my belt using him, but he is slow. And even dashing back doesn't help much.
Just so we're clear, Kahn is my main, period. Vs, arcade, Towers.

Shao Kahn did nothing wrong
I've been grinding out towers using Baraka because obvious reasons but this game made me a Cassie Cage nut recently. I've been loving playing as her this go around and she feels fast. At least faster than the others I've tried. I'm impressed.
Interestingly, Skarlet has become my main.
I love the way she fights, as I love the many moves she has that create distance, in addition to the many moves where she attacks from a distance.
Also, and very much to my surprise, I like the way Scorpion plays in this game. This might be the first game where I actually like Scorpion.

Lord Raiden
Sort of have two depending on the mood.
Li Kang:
Didn't like him in mkx but with the right variation, hes working great for me. I love that I feel like I have decent options from anywhere on the screen and can press the game as I need to.
Frost:
Some really creative moves and the visuals are just stunning, especially whenever the head is used as a weapon. Enjoying her long game and some of her closer combo strings that include both a low and an overhead. The one that gives a pop-up especially is fun to string into some of her combo moves
Honorary mentions go to Jax and Cassie. Overall though a surprising amount of characters have been playing really well

Spent most of my time with Sub Zero i've managed an okayish 6/2 record in Kasuals but i've only just finished the character tutorials and havent spent much time in practice mode with anyone in particular, Nothing set in stone at this moment as it's too early and I still want to try SO MANY characters Kotal, Kung Lao & Kitana are on my short list

No Cage? No sale!
Johnny and Liu. I actually really love Liu's playstyle this go-around. Cage is faster and his Shadow Kick goes farther than it did in X, so I'm enjoying playing as him, too.
For the tough towers, I came up with a custom combo for Cage that the AI can't seem to punish regularly, so I'm almost exclusively using him for those, right now. The only two opponents that seem to beat it regularly are Geras and Cetrion. Man, I hate those two, right now. Lol. I can't wait until they tone down the towers so I can use other characters, more.
Well.. surprisingly Cetrion has some nice Combo strings and two special moves for extending combos. She isn't that bad which everyone think she is. Just try her a little bit.
But it is interesting to see how many different mains were chosen. So MK11 has a good diversity in the roster, because most of them are making fun.

I agree! Cetrion has turned out to be one of my favs this game. She is just plain fun.
My mains are Sonya (got used to the new way she plays), Johnny and Kano (Dude is the definition of Brutal!).
As much as I love Jade and want to get better with her I do my best with Sonya. She's good for aggressive playstyles.

I’ve been having success with Kung Lao. His teleport is like playing Rock Paper Scissors (should I grab or overhead kick?) and his stealth kick from the air seems to land a bunch for me.
I’m not the best at using combos yet but his are easy to remember, especially the 6 button one which just alternates high punch and low punch.
Kung Lao seems like a good main for a beginner like me.

Dedicated, hopeless...Li Mei fan.
Technically Frost is my most used character but I don’t have a “main” in this game. I honestly don’t really like any of the characters I’ve played that much. I felt the exact same way about MKX too, and I never did find a character to latch onto. Maybe there will be a DLC character further down the road.
Tie for me here. Primarily Liu Kang is my main fighter in this installment. I can finish the game without losing with him. Noob would be a close second because I trying to learn how to use him the most. I do like Jax's wrestling type moves though.
Everyone's main should be Time Krystals, the most important aspect of MK11.
Make Time Krystals great again! Be sure to buy $40 packs because Ed is struggling. Look, Jax can't fund his Wokanda reality for free -- takes some serious Time Krystals.
BUY TIME KRYSTALS!

Johnny Cage is my main, but I have experimented with Kitana and Cetrion. I think Cetrion is my favorite new character this game, she's pretty good

Skarlett atm mainly because i used her exclusively in the beta and have her down pretty well. Also messing around with Frost and D’Vorah, Frost looks kool but not sure if she fits my play style.
I want to add Sub Zero to my Noob and Liu Kang but I'm only using tournament presets and I hate how they set him up. He is a mix up god in one variation with the option to amplify the ice ball which comes out faster and absorbs other projectiles and the other ability - cold shoulder which is even a krushing blow if it's a punish.
The other variation comes with 3 projectiles, air one, a very short one and some weird icy thing that comes out even slower then ice ball so it's pretty much useless. Everything is unsafe, none of it can be amplified and even ice ball can't be amplified anymore so it doesn't combo of his overhead anymore. Slide takes 3 amplifiers for krushing blow. And speaking of slide, the cold shoulder ability in the other variation replaces the slide. I mean, what? That's Sub Zero's signature move. That's like having an ability that replaces Scorpion's spear or teleport.
They really need to make custom variations work somehow or at least think about what they're doing.

So far, it's Hunker Down Jax. And I don't think I've ever had as much fun in a fighting game as I'm having now. Everything about him is so satisfying.

Sub-Zero and Jax are the ones I've been using the most.
I don't play online because, honestly, I'm not good.
