I use my AI on matches that I cant beat after 5 tries. Plus I like AI battle surprisingly. I'd say 50/50

Can you actually set AI on and off during a tower? I've only seen an option to do it at the beginning of a tower. It doesn't seem to be possible for example to fight 12 fighters on your own, let the next one be done with the AI and then picking it up again yourself the fight after that.

You have to go back to the select screen to turn AI on midway through a tower.

for anything that has darkness, because i have very bad eyes on top of being sensitive to light so when the screen goes all the way black for that long then back to light i need a sec for my eyes to adjust.

also i do for the fart gas because it comes way too freaking fast and always when i get a good combo in

Same here. "Ironic" is not the word I'd use. Feels more like disheartening and infuriating.

Pretty soon neither AI or myself will be playing this game. I don’t even feel like I’m playing a game I feel like I’m doing a chore. I have enough brutal chores in my life I don’t need any more via video game. Thanks NRS, you goofs.

I'm using AI to grind for koins and for what I perceive as high risk rewards from specific towers that I don't want to lose out on (I.e. for me that's mostly Noob or Sub gear).

Once I've unlocked a decent chunk of customisable gear for my characters I will be playing them legitimately as well as trying to get good to compete online.

Deception did such a great job of taking the failures of MKDA and immediately fixing them. The effort the dev team put into stage interaction was fantastic. MK9 is the best Mortal Kombat game ever in my opinion. It had everything I could've asked for.

Does that count as a loss? Because you'll probably have to pause the match and then exist, if I understand correctly.

Yes, it does count as a loss. So while it'll help get through the tower it'll take points away toward the rewards. So probably don't expect any hearts. Not like I was anyway lol.

I've yet to use the AI Fighter myself, but the fact that this question is being asked at all is a damning indictment of the game.

Used the AI fighter to get through a rare tower that I got a key for. It worked, and I got tons of coins...but is this really what I need to resort to, so I can unlock stuff? Yikes.

Overall, so far, me. But today, in particular was an AI heavy day, because I had a lot of things to do (at my computer), so I've had MK running beside me all day, pretty much, with the AI racking me up some koins while I get things done. I do thoroughly enjoy the fighting system, and of course, the graphics, so I do enjoy actually playing it, so when I have time to sit down and focus on it, it's all me.

Me. I almost never use the AI Fighter.

What level in gauntlet are you on?

I do not use the AI Fighter but I can see why people would. The Towers of Time are hard and unfun. Some of the modifers are just trash. If you get a modifier with Fire for example you will pretty much have to Skip Fight. I had a modifier in the Scorpion Summoned tower where Liu Kang had permenant Fire Hands and he would kill me in two normal combos. It just is not fun. If they made it where the modifiers affect the AI like the Tilting World modifier then it would make the Towers so much more fun.

I don't even know. I haven't paid attention.

Not too far, I think stage 5 or so. Even if I were much farther along, I would rather play another mode or game than sit around watching a game play itself.
