Joker is obviously a request from WB, and Joker is someone who readily kills so it fits.

DLC dates are spread out ... like they should be. If they were all available at once, why not have them in the game? Spread them out, get the minor things right, extend teh shelf life of the game. There's probably a Kombat Pack 2 and 3 too.

It's the biggest selling game of 2019... I don't think they are doing a lot wrong tbf.

I'm not usually fussed about minor things, but there's too much nonsense going on to let it sly.

Dimitri Skin is free which is fair, but they could've spent their time and resources on working on DLC characters than release a skin nobody asked for.

Joker is overrated and a waste of a slot. Why not Ra's Ja Ghul? Ozymandias? Rorschach? (Requested in inj2) Owlman? Vandal savage? Characters that never been in an NRS game for a fresh new experience? *Money money money* my guess.

That doesn't mean its right. Why couldn't they reveal the DLC dates before the game releases, so players that pre-order would get more of an idea of the dates.? Yes your response would be "don't pre-order in the first place" but shit like that could ruin NRS reputation for their future releases.

Joker and Terminator were selected to co-promote their movies through the Mortal Kombat medium. Each character has a movie coming out soon. Then each movie will have a home release.

Yeah Joker and Terminator are right around the corner but that's all fine and dandy. However they are not characters a lot of people want. But look at MKX, what film came out during that time frame that had Jason Voorhees as the main villain...none. The last Friday the 13th was released way back in 2009, but that is off topic. As DLC I want other Mortal Kombat fighters. How about fighters that never got a real good spotlight in the game. Sareena, Khameleon and Chameleon really are some top choices there. Sareena never got the true deserving spot in a true good MK game. Armageddon was the worst game to showcase her. This game would be perfect and would fit the story arch. How about those NPCs from Story Mode. A lot of people have asked for Sektor and Cyrax and they're already in the game. There are far better choices than non-MK characters to fill in with DLC.

I do totally agree with this post, I have literally no interest in non-canon external-franchise movie characters appearing in MK. I really wish Sindel was being released before Terminator, I could just ignore the DLC characters altogether thereafter. Just want the original MK characters they're offering, there's such a wonderful mythos and lore in Mortal Kombat, it doesn't need novelty characters being added. I practically never played as any of the movie characters in MKX, they're not part of the franchise to me; I absolutely hate silly DLC characters from other franchises when there's so many opportunities within MK to really push their own characters that haven't been respected enough.

I'd love to see characters like Ashrah expanded and further pushed towards their Asian roots, I utterly loved her original look with the hat and flowing robes, it was so classic A Chinese Ghost Story-style Oriental mysticism, she had such potential that I'd love to see explored more.

Plus totally agree on Sareena, especially since she has even been portrayed as live-action in Mythologies, it's such a shame she's been so under-utilised when she's been represented on-screen more prominently than many classic characters (there's never even been a live action Kabal for example).

I'd far more happily see Threshold-characters from the MK franchise like Art Lean, Chan, Taja, Siro, Vorpax, Kreeya, Master Cho, Omegis etc. or Gemini, No-Face and Tasia from Special Forces or even MK Mobile faction characters than any of the DLC they're offering (obviously excluding Sindel), I'd even be delighted with a just characterised Shadow Priest or a Masked Guard to be honest, any would be better than some silly 80s slasher characters that have no historical connection to the franchise whatsoever.

the dlc is the worst part, any other game these characters would already be out, so someone could wait til xmas and get the game for like 20 bucks and you would still be 2 characters short of the dlc characters.... when you think how long it takes to unlock everything, if you are a spawn fan you could possibly not unlock the stuff you want by the time the next game comes out because of the rng in everything .....this is just going to make no one buy the season pass for mk 12 at all. there is no reason when it will take 13 months just to get the last character.

not having 2v2 was dumb a lot of people love it, they could have gotten rid of the towers of time thing and just had a regular challenge tower and just have every character have a list of things to do to get skins. not the crazy 5 stages of towers.

Much like when Scorpion was in Injustice, Joker is SUPER popular. And there's a movie to promote. Just like a new Terminator, and possibly a new Spawn in the works. All about promotion, my dude.

Not bitter but some of the DLC over the years indicate NRS is becoming a sell-out. Would be better if MK stayed grounded and not change just because of increase in mainstream popularity. The new generation, new staff and more money turned MK commercial (some may see this as beneficial).
