10 Page Spread of MK in Gamesmaster Magazine (UK)

I just received my Gamesmaster mag and was pleasantly surprised to find MK on the cover and 10 pages of stuff bout MK plus a free holographic mousemat with raiden & Scorpion on.

The cover is that render of Sub-Zero with Kratos behind him.
They talk about how impressed they are with the game and how unique every character is and how they love Kratos.
Theres also a page of every cover MK has been on for Gamesmaster *cough no MKDA, MKD, MKA, MK Vs DC *cough*.
There's an interview with Ed Boon & a 10 best fatalities ever, an MK timeline & the history of MK.

I THINK there is one new screenshot of Sonya fighting Sindel. I say I think because I don't remember seeing Sonya's ring toss move at this angle. :S

I can't scan them cos my uncle has the scanner but I can't post them here anyways.

Gamesmaster does my head in with details sometimes, it says that Raiden does a buzzsaw fatality... a picture of Sindel is tagged as Mileena.
They say there are 16 total playable characters (I think thats a typo) & that Kano & Baraka have been confirmed already which unless they are confirming themselves, isn't true.

So really nothing new apart from that one picture from a different angle lol.
It says WORLD EXCLUSIVE on the cover but I dunno what the hell is a world exclusive in this spread.

I'm just excited MK has been on the cover of GM, it hasn't since MK4!

Wow nice mouse pad, i wish i can see it.

Also the komidogu said that this magazine missprinted the names. said this : New Mortal Kombat article in Games Master magazine in the UK — just ignore the mistakes (Sindel is not Mileena, and Kung Lao is not Raiden)

This is new? haha, wow.

I seen the scans already and figured it was known. Never read anything on Kano and Baraka though.
I also MAY have a link to a thread showing all of it... and i MAY give it to people who ask in the PM section. but thats not saying I ahve anything officially.

LoL, Scorpion looks like he's trying to imagine himself wearing Raiden's straw hat. Regardless, it's good to know that Baraka and Kano are around for the ride. It's starting to feel more complete. Now if only if they could try and get a glimpse to help confirm or debunk Rain and Jade... hoping for a confirmation. When they stated 16 characters, perhaps they meant starters... which I think is a little high up there. 8 could be a good point.

I like your mousemat design more, I think the costume is more detalied and more dinamic (and it's new since the one from MKvsDC is different too).

Good catch. His waist sash is completely different, his shoulder pieces and wrist guards are slightly different, his white robe has buttons instead of nothing, and his hat seems a little more worn. I like them both though!

If Jax having the metal arms atached under the skin wasn't enough to prove that this time it isn't armor but cyborg/robot implants, a closer look to the images reveal that the forearms apparently have circuits.

Probably this time Kano also mutilated him in exchange for his eye.

I was aware of the story and upcoming article. But I actually only seen the scans recently. I do remember a user calling there was 2 characters being revealed, perhaps that was goldengun?

I think you're referring to me. I'm not sure but in either case it was Game Informer that hinted it.


Top 10 Fatalities..All MK1-3 stuff except Quan-Chi's leg beat..Hmmmm *Leaks ruined the speculation for us* and Sheeva's skin rip is included..I want to take that as a hint she could be in but when it comes to Sheeva I'll believe it when I see it. um Her.

Nothing really new to add, except yeah its shows sonyas move. Her move seems like a little ring, and not a big ring like in mk1. Just seems, i don't know small for my tasts. Who knows though.

Ermac's pose in the pic where he is punching Sindel makes me think he's got his teleport punch back. Anyone agrees?

i disagree, i think its just the awful animation for some characters when they jump and kick or punch like sindel and kung lao,their waists look so wrong !
