Define "unique". Many of what I think are my coolest ideas are based on a finisher the character had in a past game.

Example:

Raiden - grips his opponent tightly by the lower jaw (sticking two fingers in his mouth and the thumb under his jaw, sort of like a Mandible Claw), starts pouring electricity straight into their face. Their body blackens, their eyes pop out, blood oozing out of the empty sockets, until finally, the power feed stops when all the skin has burnt off the head. They both just stand still for a moment, then the rest of the victim's body, from the neck down, collapses into a pile of ash, leaving Raiden holding nothing but a skull. He contemplates it for a moment, Hamlet-style, then drops it in the pile and does a victory pose.

It's basically his SNES MK1 finisher which is my favorite fatality he's ever had, but way more awesome.

And that's really what I'd like to see from the other characters too. Scorpion should have something that's a much more complex variant of the Toasty and his second should be the UMK3 (or was it Trilogy only?) Hand from Hell. (or if Shinnok's in the game and thus, has a monopoly on summoning giant skeleton hands, let's go with the Scorpion Morph, since he, Liu Kang, and Nightwolf all make sense having animality-like transformation abilities but nobody else does.) Johnny and Kung Lao combining their two originals into one is also the kind of thing I like seeing. I hope Jax has one where he rips off their arms then finishes with the head squish...or better yet, mix it with the Deadly Alliance Head Stomp a bit: After he de-limbs them, he bodyslams them on the ground, leaps high into the air, and does his Ground Pound into their face, crushing it with a glowing purple fist and an epic shockwave.

Kano: Cuts through the chest to the rib cage, pries open the rib cage with his bare hands and rips out the beating heart. Make it happen!

Liu Kang: He does a variation of his cartwheel kick with the uppercut, and then while they're in mid-air, he hits them with a fireball and they blow into chunks!!

MAKE THAT HAPPEN!!!!

lol. good submissions so far. razor, you've pretty much got the idea. i mean everyone wants to see a classic redone like Liu's dragon chomp fatality from MK1. but let's all strive to add detail or something different to these already classic fatalities. as for my submission, here's one for Jax:

he walks over slowly to his opponent and puts both of his hands on either side of their head. he then proceeds to pick them up by their head. all the while, the opponent is screaming and jerking trying to pull themselves free from the increasing pressure. finally, before one last scream, the camera zooms in to the opponents face before their head is completely crushed to a pulp. Jax then lets the lifeless body fall to the floor and he proceeds to do his victory stance. short. simple. and to the point.

Baraka- takes a bite out of someone then cuts ther legs off and then impales there head with his blade

Liu Kang
1) Inner Fire fatality (new style)
2) Dragon fatality (new style)
3) Screen throwing fireball fatality (new style)

Johnny Cage
1) Head uppercut and torso rip.
2) Johnny Statue helicopter drop on target (much like Liu's arcade cast)
3) Kais ripping fatality from MK4.

Sonya Blade
1) Fire Kiss fatality
2) Leg breaker fatality (she rips you appart in her handstand mode)
3) Energy kiss (she kisses the victim and the victim turns into a extremly energy-full person, he starts to freak out and blows up.)

Scorpion
1) Toasty hell breath
2) Get over here into hell
3) The slice fatality that was already shown.

Sub-Zero
1) Icycle (something with an icycle)
2) Freezes the victim solid and breaks it above its head.
3) Spine ripper with freezing specials.

Kano
1) Heart rip and bite like an apple, then dislikes the taste and punshes the heart into the still standing victims face.
2) Lazer eyes
3) Flesh eating beetles (Kano drops a bottle with flesh eating beetles before the victims feet and they eat the victim till only bones remain.

Raiden
1) Electrocution above its head (like in mk4)
2) Lighting strikes (much like Rains fatality in MKtrilogy, but after many lightnings strike the victim only his feet and head explodes)
3) Torpedo (Raiden does his torpedo move and cuts off the torso from the other bodyparts.)

Shang Tsung
1) Soul Steal
2) Cobra bite, Shang tsung turns into a fiery cobra and eats the victim whole, then spits its burning remains out.
3) Boss Shapeshift (First he turns into Kintaro, then into Motaro and at last into Shao Kahn, finishing the victim off with shoa kahns hammer.)

Reptile
1) Something with its tongue (can be done invisible aswel)
2) Something with his acid (can be done invisible aswel)
3) Something with lethal, terrible poison (can be done invisible aswel)

Baraka
1) Something with impalement
2) Scorpions second fatality suits baraka, he catches the flying head with one of his armblades and bites it like an apple.
3) Slashes victims tummy open and all organs fall out fatality.

Jax
1) Rips out arms and crushes head with own arms.
2) Earth based fatality, the earth swallows the victim.
3) Arms turn into knives and slashes the victim into parts.

Kitana
1) Something cruel with the fans.
2) Kiss of fatness
3) Kiss of ageing (turns into a very old man and dies into a skeleton.)

Mileena
1) The one we've seen before, the face eater.
2) Bone Spitter or something like Haviks fatality with the arm eater.
3) Something with the sais.

Kung Lao
1) The one we've seen

1) Staff shaker
2) Kiss of plant growth (vines start to grow out of the victims body, ripping her/him appart.)

1) Smoke frome the inside (he enters your body and x-ray shows organs blowing up, then the victim throws up blood and smoke and finally explodes and than a very bloody smoke stands there where the victim was kneeling)
2) Smoke Cloud (a cloud surrounds the victim and burns it into an ashy corpse.

Cyrax
1) Resident evil net.

3) Pull into his body fatality from Deadly Alliance variant.

1) The very cool missile fatality
2) Something cruel with his flamethrower.

2) Something cruel with her hair.
3) Flying fatality (sindel lifts the victim up and flies offscreen with it, then she drops him from a great hight.)

Stryker
1) Something with bombs.
2) Something cruel with his nightsticks.
3) Gun shots (he shoots the victim with his gun, and then the victim will spray blood from all the bullet holes until he's bled dry, then stryker shoots the victim through the head.)

Nightwolf
1) Werewolf + wolf pack fatality
2) Holy light + holy spirits fatality
3) Something more original with his axes, the lightning strike in the head on the axe for example.

Kabal
1) Fatality with his speed.
2) Fatality with his groundsaw.
3) Fatality with his face and hookswords.

Ermac
1) Telekinetic slam fatality
2) Telekinetic ripping fatality.
3) Telepathic horror fatality (ermac overflows the victim minds with painfull and horrible images, the victim screams and commits suicide (if there is a stage fatality it will do the stage fatality)

Rain
1) Whirlwind terror (a whirlwind rips the victim into pieces)
2) Water fatality (A huge bubble of animated water surrounds the victim and starts to drown the victim, then rain cuts the victim and the bubble of water starts to turn red with blood in the end the water bubble will shrink with the victim still in it crushing it entirely)
3) Acid Rain fatality

Sheeva
1) Skin ripper fatality
2) Teleport stomp fatality, she jumps on your stumic and you spit a fountain of blood everytime she jumps on your chest, and in the end the head of the victim pops, just like a bottle when you jump on it a couple of times)
3) Limb ripper, she ripps off all your limbs (arms and legs) at the same time.

Quan Chi
1) Skeleton hands (much like off shinnocks fatalities)
2) Skeleton animation (Quan Chi animates the skeleton of the victim and the skeleton tears itself free from the flesh)
3) Leg rip (his fatality from MK4)

Sareena
1) Inner demon (her demon form breaks free and eats the victim slowly)
2) Shuriken barrage (the fatality of reiko, but more bloody)
3) Demon kiss (she kisses you and an demon rips its way free from the victims chest, much like alien)

Noob Saibot
1) Togheter we are stronger (Noob saibot summons his shadow clone and togheter they rip the victim appart by both grabbing one arm.) 2) Afraid in the dark (The screen turns totally black, and then much screams are heard, when the light turns back on the sight ain't gonna be pretty and all parts are shattered over the entire level in a bloody mess) 3) Black Hole (He opens a black hole and the victim is sucked into it, then it closes. He then opens another hole and all the victims parts are falling out of it in one bloody messy rain.)

Stryker- Pulls out a Semi-automatic pistol and shoots the opponent in the leg. As they try to crawl away he shoots off one of their hands. While they scream he grabs them by the head and pistol whips them twice to knock out some teeth before sticking the pistol in their mouth and blasting their brain matter out the back of their skull.

For entertainment purposes he wipes the gun down and plants it on them :p

Got a few ideas I had a while ago, I'll re-post them here, and post more later. Sorry breaking your rules, posting more then one. :) I'm really liking the idea of them combining multiple classic Fatalities into one, so that's what these ideas are. Oh and Razor your Raiden Fatality is super sick!

Liu Kang
His MK1 cart wheel kick and uppercut, after the opponent gets launched WAY up into the air, Liu Kang turns into a Dragon and catches him in his body in his mouth, chomping down hard with the opponents shoulders and head, along with the bottom half of his legs hitting the ground.

Quan Chi
Classic MK4 leg rip and beat, after he gets done with his beating he chucks the leg, then jumps in the middle of his back with his head shooting off to who knows where. Or instead of ending it with just jumping on the opponents back, he does his teleport move, landing on his back making his head shoot off, then throw in 6-8 more stomps just for good measure and brutality.

Scorpion
Classic Toasy, with a nice zoom in of him taking his mask off, and skull. As the opponent is still burning, smoking, screaming, trying to crawl away, he spears his leg and yanks it off, then an arm, then his other leg and arm, Leaving bloody charred and smoldering body parts all over the arena. Might be a little OUT there type of Fatality but would definitely be bad fucking ass.

Kitana
She walks up to the staggering opponent and kisses him/her on the cheek, the body inflates and Kitana starts to walk away, but goes back and decaps him/her with her fan with all of the opponents blood, guts, organs and bones shooting out of the whole where the head used to be from the relief in pressure Ole Faithful style. After all that is said and done with the skin slushes to the ground in a bloody gushy boneless mess.

Kano: Eviscerates opponent then strangles them to death with their intestines.

Shang Tsung: Grabs opponent by the throat and sucks out their soul, leaving the opponent shriveled up like a mummy.

I have a ton more twisted, sadistic, brutal, should get myself checked into a mental ward ideas for Fatalities but they're so detailed I'm dreading typing it. Will probably bust a couple more out tomorrow or the next day or something, if this thread survives that long.

On a side note, I hope they start doing MK2011 Fatalities for Fatality Fridays soon. I also really think they're showing us Fatalities from the old school games, pretty much telling us what to expect. Which if that's true, Sheeva is in the game, which blows. I would love to see that skin rip Fatality with today's graphics and technology though, badly!

Liu Kang
First Liu Kang changes into a huge green dragon, then he sets the victim aflame with this firebreath, he bites the victim and lifts the burning victim with his jaws, then he wildly shakes the still burning victim a couple of times before throwing the burning corpse onto the screen where the burning skeleton explodes into a mess.
(this fatality combines his fire, dragon and screen throwing fatalities. :D)

Johnny Cage
Johnny Cages calls with a mobile phone for his private helicopter, then lights are seen above the victim and a huge, stone Jhonny Cage statue falls from the sky onto the victim.
The victims lower body is crushed and he/she still lives, the victim tries to craw from under the statue and Johnny walks toward him/her, then he gives a photo/autograph to the victim and the victim will spit out blood and dies, Johnny says something about that his statue is covered in blood and somebody comes clean it off.

Sonya Blade
First Sonya kisses the victim, the victim looks suprised as nothing happend, but then the victims body starts to shake like a madman and the body slowly catches fire, while in flames and pure terror of too much energy in the victims body, sonya will do the handstand and takes the burning person between her feet, she then rips the burning corpse into two pieces and they turn into ash after they reach the ground.

Scorpion
First he does the toasty fatality, then he will create a portal to the Nethearrealm and enters, from the portal his spear appears that pulls the burning victim into the portal, then the Neatherrealm is shown with an even harder burning victim, as the victim explodes out of pure heat small scorpions (insects) appear and start to feast on the burning flesh and bones.

Sub-Zero
First sub-zero creates an hanging icycle on the ceiling, then he gives the victim a hard uppercut so that the victim will be impaled by the hanging icycle with his stumic, the victim starts to freeze a little bit and starts to glide off the icycle, then Sub-Zero creates a second icycle from underneath the almost falling victim.
The victim falls off with his back into the standing icycle, this icycle is pretty big so the victim is thorn into icy-pieces while falling down on it as its body hole will be torn until his body breaks from the freezing.

Kano
Kano cuts the victims chest with his famous knife, then he licks the blood off the knife and grabs with his hand inside the chest, at first it looks like he can't find the heart as he grabs rather long and clumpsy inside the chest (making all kinds of awefull noices while doing so) but finally he grabs the still beating heart form the chest. He takes a large bite out of the heart like its an apple, then Kano looks really disgusted and while saying that the heart is rotten he smashes the heart into the still standing victims face and the victim falls down with his own heart on his face, at least wats left of it.

Raiden
Raiden lifts his enemy into the sky, then he first starts to electricute the victim until some black corpse remains, then a huge lightning strike will hit the ashy corpse and Raiden is left standing with ash covering his entire body.

Shang Tsung
First Shang turns into Kintaro and rips the victims arms clean off, then he turns into Motaro which kicks the victims knee clean off, while the torso and head remains Shang Tsung turns into Shao Kahn and smashes the victims screaming head with his huge hammer, Shang Tsung will then turn into himself again and absorbs the soul from the bloody mess thats left behind.

Reptile
Reptile bites the victim very hard in his/her neck like a vampire he will spit some venom inside the neck, when Reptile jumps off, the victim starts to scream like a madman, his skin will turn into a dirty green color and he falls to his knees throwing up green and red blood, he then throws up organs and finally his heart.
Reptile will remove his mask and his tongue will grab the heart and other organs, and finally the hanging head from the victims body.


Sindel
Sindel starts to scream very loud, then the ears of the victim will start to spray blood, she then flies up and flies until she's hanging over the bleeding victim, then her hairs will animate and grab the victim around his arms, she flies upward offscreen with the victim and after a short break the victim is heard screaming, the screaming gets louder and louder until the victim falls to the ground into a bloody pulp with bones sticking out of the messy flesh, Sindel then returns and screams in joy, that was fun!

Scorpion disappears in flames, similar to his teleport punch. The victim suddenly snaps out of the dazed state and braces themselves for a punch from behind, but it doesn't happen.
Cut to a closer shot of the victim looking quickly over both shoulders, then quickly turning a few times, but Scorp is nowhere to be seen.
Then suddenly his spear tip bursts through the victims throat, and Scorpion is seen standing behind them. After a few seconds of gurgling, choking, and spitting up blood the spear tip unfolds (like a grappling hook), Scorp pulls it back hard, completely tearing through the opponents neck and sending the head spinning upward. Then end with a close up of the spear moving back into the palm of his hand, MK movie style.

Nice, liking that last Scorpion one a lot. Some of the Sincubus ones were good too.

This is a Human Smoke idea i had a while back. It's actually very similar to the scorpion idea above me.

Human Smoke fatality- Smoke creates a smokescreen across the entire place. The enemy (lets say Kitana) is slowly wandering through it, being extremely cautious. Suddenly there is a flash of movement and Kitana gets punched in the face, another flash of movement and she getspunched in the stomach. She would then be on one knee and should look in front of her. She will see a sillouhette (sp?) running toward her through the smoke. Kitana will scream in terror, and suddenly a sword (or any weapon) will burst out of her wide open mouth. Smoke was behind her and stabbed her through the back of the head and out the mouth.


Sincubus just gave me a cool Scorpion idea also.

Suddenly a portal to hell appears under Scorpion and he drops down. You can hear screams and howling wind and all kinds of hellish sounds coming from the hole. Our victim will be Subzero. Subzero kind of "wakes up" from the dazed head-twirling state. He looks at the hole and slowly walks over to it, leaning his head forward to look down into it. All of a sudden, Scorpions kunai comes flying up out of the hole and you hear "WELCOME TO HELL!!!" (Scorpion's trademark yell). Subzero then goes flying into the hole, but manages to catch onto the edge. Subzero is screaming bloody murder as he is yanked about three times and you see his grip slipping. Finally, he falls screaming into hell. FATALITY.

lol. both hilarious and epic. keep 'em coming guys. that is of course if you haven't run out of ideas already.

Haha that was great now that would be awesome fatality.

Sub Zero: Makes an ice slide that has small icicles on it he pushes the victims making them slide on the icicles and then makes a giant icicle that is sideways the victim grips at the ice but can grab nothing until the slam head first into the icicle he breaks the icicle thats impaled on his head and turns the victims over to see there body look like grinded meat with intestines hanging out.

Nightwolf: Walks up to the victim and impales there feet with his green tomahawks. He then grabs there head and conjures his green knife he slowly starts scalping there head the victim of course screaming bloody murder. After he his done he peels of the scalp and sticks the knife into his brain. Nightwolf then says may your soul run free he walks away as a soul comes out blowing up the victims head

I've been thinking about a fatality idea for the past 2 days.
It fits either Sektor, Cyrax or Cybersmoke, or anyone else that can use a DRILL.

Now here the deal:

It begins with the robot pulling back the opponents head(maybe pulling in hair or whatever they have in the back of the head)
Then takes his hand and transform it into a drill.
He then spins it up and puts it either trough his opponents chin or in his mouth above the tongue, then drills all the way up through the head making splatternoises and bonebreaking ones.

Once through he pulls the drill towards himself so that his arm comes through the opponents face, ending looking like somone crashed into a pole.
The opponent then falls down dripping blood from the open facewound.

Maybe a slo-mo effect could be used when pulling the arm through.

Quite gross if you ask me, the way fatalities should be. On the verge of to extreme to watch.

Batman grabs his batarang and slices all his victims' tendons, as they fall to the ground shaking uncontrollably. He then sits down and prepares for a delicious meal as he picks at the losers meat. FRIENDSHIP!!!
