Well in the original version of the storyline, they are supposed to fight in MK2 and Kitana's supposed to kill Mileena.

And I sure would've loved to actually see that happen...but with Raiden mucking up history, who knows what we'll get.

I'm not the biggest fan(hehe) of Kitana. I've never really liked her character. So I'd like Mileena to kill Kitana.

I've always wanted to see some closure between the two. Maybe have them both fight against Shao Kahn, realizing how much he's screwed them over. Sindel and Jade could join the fray as well, all against Kahn.

With great graphics though, I wouldn't mind seeing an epic fight between the two of them one on one. Why not.

I have to admit its a battle I would love to see in a pre-rendered movie or whatever.

I mean we always get Scorp and Sub having a spat but its never Mileena and Kitana.

Kitana lacks personality... bigtime. I think all the other females beat her in that department. Mileena FTW.

well, as they are "retelling" the story, they could give Kitana more personality and make a great fight between Mileena and Kitana, which i would love to see..

Im glad to see that most of you believe its time they finally go at it, with amazing graphics, resulting in an epic clash...........I personally love Mileena, I think shes one sexy evil bitch. Shes my second favorite female in the MK Universe. BUT my favorite female is the Princess of Edenia, the one and only, Kitana. Mileena is good but she doesn't stand a chance against the Princess. I hope that in this new MK game we get to know Kitana a little bit deeper.

Speaking of which for the person that has the Kitana vs. Mileena comic in their signature.. is that real? Exactly what the hell could be THE SHOCKING TRUTH between those two? That Mileena is Kitanas twin/clone?

I LOVED MK2 Kitana. She was the rebel assassin/princess. I hate the self-rightsous stick in the mud she ́s become.

The character potential is there, they just need to take it in the right direction. I think a huge fight between the sisters is very needed, but I think if they worked toghether it ́d be a BITCHIN' storyline!

If Kitana wasn ́t such a stiff, she could have Mileena join her in overthrowing Kahn, and the 2 could attack Deadly Alliance style! Then they could rule Eternia (lol i did that by mistake but im leaving it) as sisters. After all... no one says Mileena HAS to be loyal to Outwold... she ́s artificial.
That way Kitana wouldnt even have to become all chummy chummy with the earhties, and end up w Liu Kang.

I think that would be a great storyline! ...fuck it... im gonna pick them in tag team mode and pretend thats the storyline regardless of what happens!

Quick question about Mileena's genetic makeup then:
What do her genes make her loyal to? Shao Khan? Outworld? Because she did serve Shinnok for a while so it is possible he tampered with her genetic makeup like he did to allow her to read Kitana's thoughts (although is that canon? I'm not sure.) It is possible that she could just be interested in serving the strongest being out there I suppose. I think that if Mileena and Kitana were to join up then it would have to be after Kitana kills her because that is the only chance Mileena has at getting altered (by Shinnok) so that she can join up with Kitana.

Mileena is very loyal to Shao Kahn because of her upbringing and because she always wanted to prove she was better than Kitana. My guess is that she was loyal to Shinnok because Tarkatans are used to serve their masters and Mileena has tarkatan essence in her dna. However, her intelligence is a gift from Kitana's essence which is why she comes up with her own little plans. After Deception, I feel like she's become more independent and she's turning into more of a "leader" type character.

But I think she was loyal to Shinnok cause she had to, he was the one that brought her back to life, and he could make her dead again.

That's why I think if Mileena and Kitana made an an alliance, they'd make a really awesome, sort of dysfunctional team... and considering they share a mental link... I think it'd have a lot of potential and they would be a true force to be reckoned with. You could even throw Jade in the mix.

Id love for her memory to be erased again so she became and STAYS a rebel and assassin and her and Mileena to team up and become a team of twin assassins.
