Sindel

PRIMARY: Imo, by far the best female costume in the game, no complaints at all. It's sharp, interesting and a nice update of her classic look. Also, looks evil-ish and since Sindel is evil this time, it really fits! 5/5

ALTERNATE: I have to say, at first I loved this costume, but over the time I sort of lost a bit of love for it. I still like it, it's something unexpected and a bit "on the line", but I think it's good. 4/5


Ermac

PRIMARY: I absolutely love this costume, every single piece of it! It's obviously inspired by his MKD primary which to date is my favorite MK costume ever, but the new MK2011 version is also awesome. I would have liked it even more if the chest part was metallic/silver instead of black, but nonetheless, it's awesome. It also catches that mysterious vibe about Ermac nicely. 5/5

ALTERNATE: Again, another outstanding costume. Love the belt, the boots and the hood. No complaints, just an awesome design. 5/5


Reptile

PRIMARY: There's too little color variation, especially given that Reptile himself has green skin. It's just kinda boring overall and I hate the mask which makes him look like a bird and the hood feels off. 2/5

ALTERNATE: A bit better than primary, but again, too little color variation given Reptile's skin. 3/5


Kitana:

PRIMARY: Although a costume like this I would have preferred as an alt costume for Kitana, the costume itself is nice. It gives us a new, fresh and sexier than ever Kitana without going overboard (I like that her tits are actually covered nicely unlike with most of the other female costumes). I love the patterns on the clothes, love the tiara and the earrings. It's nice to see Kitana in a lighter shade of blue for a change. Her MK2011 steel fans are my absolute favorite so far. They look sharp, deadly and serious. At first they were a bit too bland, but with the added designs on the blue paper part and the blades themselves they look just right. The ones from the MKDA-MKvsDC are were cool too, but they were too pretty for my taste. The new ones look more serious and like they really hurt when they hit you. 4/5

ALTERNATE: Oh dear lord! I bashed this costume so much. It's so random and crappy. The sleeves are totally out of place and ugly, the boots feel totally off. The panties and bare legs are "so well though out", the creative process behind that must have been an epic journey (/sarcasm). The top is nice as it is modest and is design as a fan, but the rest of the costume makes no sense whatsoever. Her face is pretty from up front, but from the sides it really doesn't look pretty (although camera angles have this effect on some other characters as well, but still it's not pretty from the sides). May this shitty design never happen again. 1/5

Scorpion's alternate is awesome, I only wish the mask didnt look so much like a crab; I would have loved a simple cloth mask, and different arm guards.

Sindel's alternate is possibly the worst look in the game imo.

SINDEL
Primary - To me, it's pretty much her MK3 look plus the now fighting game standard huge titties. It's still a good look for her and I like the throwback to her original appearance. 8.5/10

Alternate - This costume does a much better job of making her look like royalty, but I can't say it's better than her primary. If they wanted to go with the "queen" look, then they should have covered her a bit more. 6/10

I'd like something original for DLC.

ERMAC
Primary - It's a shout-out to his MKD look with lots of tweaks on the actual outfit. I like most things about it, but I feel the overall costume is too busy. They could have given him a more simplified look and it would have been better. 7.5/10

Alternate - This look is perfect. The hood makes him look like the badass that Shao Kahn would want, and the overall appearance is simpler and cleaner. Maybe it's the lack of green on this one, I don't know. 10/10

Deception alternate for DLC, please.

REPTILE
Primary - I like it. I remember when many people were up in arms over the bird-esque mask, but this costume succeeds where MK4 failed. They managed to give him an in-between look that mixes reptilian and human characteristics, and not have it be horrendously stupid looking. 8/10

Alternate - I like that they went with black as the main color of his clothing, and green as the accent. It really makes the green pop better. The snake wraps are cool, too. Well done. 9/10

His MK1 look beats both, though. Human Reptile forever. Give me his MKDA look as DLC, though. I'd rather see him as the classic human ninja or the full on dino, it'd be a departure from what we already have.

KITANA
Primary - I think it shows a bit too much, but otherwise it's my all-time favorite of Kitana's costumes, which sadly isn't saying much. Fans look great, I like that tiara thing she has, and the sash is a nice touch, too. 8.5/10

Alternate - ... please put your mask back on, you look like someone who just caught a whiff of something nasty in your fridge. Kitana can't be that ugly... she just can't. The rest of the outfit is unremarkable. I like the hair and the sleeves, but that's about it. 3/10

Kitana has enough outfits, but if they want to make more then please make something new and exciting... Don't have very much to go on with the classic route. And so help me if they give us her MKDA alternate... that thing should never be seen again.

Sindel

Primary- I really like that its an awesome update to her MK3 costume. But at the same time, they should have just done something completely new. Also, this costume does not look regal enough.

Alternate- I also liked this costume at first and the more I saw it, the less I liked it. The crown and the hair are awesome, some parts of the costume are good like the torso and bust of her top and the collar is good too, but the fishnet and half pants and shoulder pads just look weird. This costume is also not regal enough.

Sindel looked better in MKD

Kitana-

Primary- Best look Kitana has ever had. Finally she got the costume she should have had way back in MKDA. I only have small complaints on this costume, the loin cloth is too short, it should extend to her feet when shes standing upright and I also think a front and back loin dress would look nice, NRS only likes front only loin coverings for the females I guess. Im also not fond of the lacing on her top. The boots are awesome, fans are awesome, tiara and earrings are awesome. Yes her hair is awesome too, the concept of the long flowing hair is awesome, they didnt execute the animation that well, but the principle of Kitana's extra long hair is awesome.
The pattern is awesome also. We can finally tell she is the princess.

Alternate- I like this costume, Im one of the few on her who actually likes this costume. The best part is the top, the fan detail is nice. The sleeves, asscape and short boots all look weird. The asscape, like the loincloth in her primary, needs to be much longer. I kinda like the short boots now though, but would look better if they were higher on her leg. Her face is good when looking at it straight on, the profile looks weird. Her sleeves should have been somehow connected to her top and the asscape should have been connected to the back of her top also to create something more similar to Mileena's MKD robe.

I'd just like to touch upon the Kitana bit.





She's fucking gourgeus!!!!

I just want to talk about her alt.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the braided hair!
The big lump of a mess in her primary reminds me of gross things.

The tiara is my favorite thing they did to her this time around.
It resembles that of an innocent princess which I adore. (Isn't she a princess anyway...)

Her cloth over her breasts is a nice contrast to the metal holdings. Her boots however scream "Wonder Woman".

Now, the face. The best part.
Those big lips are so yummy.
Indented cheeks make it all flow and pretty much is Anjelina Jolie with fans.

Her alt. pretty much makes her PERFECT.

In the art Kitana's face looks good and she looks way younger than Anjelina Jolie. In game, her face did not end up looking like the art, which is a shame. Her face still looks good in game, but Kitana is supposed to be like amazingly beautiful, NRS should have capitalized on that more. In Kitana's primary her face looks perfect with the mask on, but in her alt they didnt make her nose and mouth compliment her eyes very well.

Ermac

Primary: Sigh kinda ugh, Really don't like the mummy wraps with nose sticking out. Maybe if they at least had covered his nose I would've liked this costume more. That's my main gripe however 6/10

Alternate: God I love it so much. Immenesly badass with the hood, like a dark priest. the robes flow nicely and I'm a big fan of black and red anyway so it does wonders for me haha. I love the mask too and think it fits nicely. I mightve added some accessories or something possibly to the legs or arms but this really does it for me 9/10

Klassic MK1: Awesome Klassic...however I love using it too but I really want MK3 Ermac..that would be godly 7/10


Sub Zero

Primary: I do like his primary mainly in the darker blue P2 color ( which I think SZ looks better in all his costumes for the darker blue). The mask is cool but at the same time it's really big and I think it could've been managed a different way. Don't really care too much for the arm and upper arm armor pad things (Im just really glad he didn't keep his frozen arms from MKvsDC...ugh. Im giving it 6.5/10

Alternate: Just awesome. Its Bi Han of course, and looks awesome with the straps across the waist and the smaller spikes on his gauntlets and legs. The mask Is one of the high points, and its my favorite one as well...and or course amazing in P2 darker blue color. 9/10

Klassic MK1: Just what Id expected. Pretty awesome, Although I really want MK2 and MK3 for him...7/10

Unmasked UMK3: Sigh...this just made me want MASKED UMK3 SZ even more and was disappointed...at least they kept the black undershirt with it. and he does look like The Animated Series Batman Bruce Wayne from time to time as well....sigh hopefully in time. 6/10
