Does the A.I. adapt itself to your strategy?

I had changed my strategy a little against A.I-controlled opponents, and while they remained challenging, they often made the same mistakes. Last night, I played as Cyrax, on the expert difficulty, without losing a single fight. It was becoming a little easy, save a few difficult matches against Skarlet and Freddy, but eventually I fought Baraka, as Raiden, and he gave me a run for my money. It was exciting. It's like the AI got used to my new strategy.

So I wonder. Has that happened to anyone? Was that just a glitch? Have some people been using the exact same strategy against the AI for years, with it never adapting to them? I certainly hope that wasn't a glitch, because I love a challenge.

I don't think they do.

Everytime I fight Quan Chi he uses his Telestomp everytime on wakeup. Every single time. And I punish him every single time. So if the A.I really could adapt then Quan Chi would stop trying that move on wakeup when he knows he'll get punished.

Perhaps you're right. It's just that the game seemed to have gotten much easier for me, then it really got hard again when I fought Baraka, who was the last opponent before the bosses. But when I played it again, it was pretty much the same, again. Hard, but not in the hair-pulling way.

Also, I don't know about other people, but I love to take risks during battle. When playing as Johnny Cage for instance, I try to make sure I hit the low blow, especially when the opponent's in the right stance, the one that allows you to see them from the front instead of their back. I frequently risk losing fights that way, but it's so entertaining.

Using the cloud technology just like Forza, have the game be able to study your game play and essentially clone you and your skills into the game. Allowing you to play against cloned AI of yourself
