forward and backward grabs

Don't think anyone's mentioned, but it seems all the characters have their own grab that pushes the opponent in either of the two directions.

For Example:

scorpion can do two spear attacks and then either head butt or do a judo slam that puts the opponent on the other side

and

nightwolf can stab the opponent in the shoulder and then either put them on the ground in front of them by doing a leg sweep, or toss them behind him, followed by a lightning strike to the downed opponent. thoughts?

Would be nice if that is the case. Gives you some more options to play with, such as getting an opponent into a corner, or getting yourself out.

Or even better, throws could be used by pushing down two face buttons down, like forward kick + forward punch, or back kick + back punch, and be escaped out of with the opponent pushing either punch button. And they can still do the forward/back various throw thing. Adds to the gameplay.

Let's do everything Soul Calibur does!

Pressing two buttons at once to do throws is the most awkward fucking pain in the ass thing. Hell, I hate just trying to throw with Low Punch in the old MK games. No thank you. Giving it its own button was a good goddamn idea.

As long as they don't screw up the controls like MKM:SZ! They actually gave a button to walk forward and a button to walk backwards! Then I remember people prasing the stupid controls as being "revolutionary" or some shit like that! Just WTF!
