If a Friendship Pack were made for all the characters of the newest MK what do you think they could be?

I've always wanted to see Baraka use his blades for hedge trimmers. Maybe form a dragon logo?

No more random friendships.Make them play to the character's traits.
Except maybe "buy a scorpion doll!" (though we now know scorpion hates teddies.)

Sub-Zero creates a giant ice block, then cracks it into peices with a punch. Chunks start flling off to form the MK logo.

i was completely against friendships until i saw the babilities in this game. they could ABSOLUTELY make them work, but they'd need a certain criteria (no jumping or something) to stop them getting overused.

What if Friendships were limited to characters who genuinely don' t want to kill each other like Mileena and Baraka, Kung Lao and Lui Kang, Jax, Sonya, Cage. Essentially, all the good guys don't hurt each other, most of the bad guys but some guys are kinda neutral. Scorpion and Kano for example have no qualms with each other. Imagine the following friendship.

Scorpion defeats Kano. The screen dims. Scorpion takes out his sword, hesitates and then puts it away and turns around. He couls say: " I have no friends ", but I think it's better if he doesn't verbalize it. Kano pull out of his stun and consoles Scorpion with a pat on the shoulder.
Scorpion pushes him back. Friendship!
You could add : Get out of here! in the scorpion voice.

Hold down Block and Scorpion decapitates Kano for trying to be his friend.
Friendship? No thanks!

What an awesome Easter Egg that would be.

I'd like Shang Tsung to morph into the opponent, then the opponent reacts as if looking in a mirror, (waving hands etc. making sure it's a reflection). Shang matches them for a few seconds, then pokes them in the eyes complete with Curley sound fx (woop woop woop woop woop).

As much as I want Friendships to be in, I feel like they don't belong in MK10 since it'll most likely be a loose re-interpretation of MK4.

Friendships should have been in the game instead of Babalities. Babalities are incredibly lame.

I wouldn't mind Friendships in the next game, though I'd probably prefer Hara Kiris. But Friendships would bring a bit of lighthearted humour that the game definitely needs.

Baraka:

Begins to hop and skip away with enemy, but he trips, falls, and his blades get him stuck in the ground as the opponent skips away merrily. You could call it "Dont play with Scissors".

Cyrax:

Shoots out a bomb that explodes into paper confetti. The enemy claps happily as Cyrax laughs.

Cyber Sub-Zero:

Shoots a ball of ice energy up into the sky before encasing himself in it. As snow flakes begin to fall from the sky his ice energy materialises and he turns into a Snow Man.

Ermac:

Ermac uses his psychic powers to make a deck of tarot cards and a crystal bal appear. He levitates in a sitting position as he reads the opponent's future.

Jade:

Jade takes out a Frisbee (which looks like a razor-rang, but with no blades) and begins to throw it back and forth wtih the opponent for a game of Frisbee while laughing.

Jax:

A game of high stryker appears, and the opponent hits the mark with the hammer, which goes half way up the meter. Jax punches the mark which causes the mark to erupt from the top and break the machine.

Johnny Cage:

Cage lets out a grin (and his teeth sparkle) as he takes out a pair of Sun Glasses and puts them on the opponent before putting his own on. Both strike a cocky pose to the camera in unison.

Kabal:

A finish line appears nearby as both Kabal and the opponent get ready for a race. Kabal speeds off, leaving the opponent behind who throws a bit of a tantrum.

Kano:

Kano shines his laser into the air which makes a series of hollograms for the opponent's amusement. Hollograms are quite random, like a dinosaur, or a smiley face.

Kenshi:

Kenshi uses his telekinesis to juggle some balls in the air as the opponent claps. He then strikes a pose and says: "Look! No hands!".

Kitana:

Kitana draws her fans and begins to dance the flamenco for her opponent's amusement. She then bows for the camera as roses are thrown at her with an applauding sound.

Kung Lao:

Kung Lao laughs as he takes of his hat and throws it away into the air. A squak is heard as Kung Lao flinches, and a dead vulture falls to the floor with the hat stuck in it's chest. He then re-adjusts his colar uncomfortably.

Liu Kang:

Liu Kang shoots his fire energy into the sky, which bursts into fireworks that take the shape of an oriental dragon.

Mileena:

Mileena takes out her teddybear from the Challenge Tower and presents it to the opponent. When the opponent declines the teddy, she gets upset and bites the teddy's head off in a temper.

Nightwolf:

Nightwolf connects to the spirit world and creates butterflies and birds of spirit energy that alternate in colour. They fly around the opponent sparkling, as the opponent watches contently.

Noob Saibot:

Noob uses his shadow powers to cast illusions on the wall for a game of charades with his opponent. When the opponent can't guess what the clue is, the shadow depict a sad smiley face.

Quan Chi:

Quan pulls a dark green box out with a question mark on the top of it, which the opponent curiously opens. A jack-in-the box bursts out, with a glowing green skull. The opponent get's a freight and walks off in a huff, which makes Quan laugh smugly.

Raiden:

Raiden shakes the opponent's hand, and the static of his electricity causes their hair to rise. After getting a slight shock, the opponent lets out a little yelp, and Raiden looks embarassed.

Rain:

Rain strikes his victory pose, which causes it to start raining. He then realises he's left his opponent out in the bad weather, so he pulls out an Umbrella and hands it to them.

Reptile:

Reptile uses his camoflague powers to turn into a series of different colours and patterns for the opponent's amusement. He goes from red, to blue, to leopard print, to zebra print, then dissapears in a puff of green smoke.

Scorpion:

Scorpion getstures that the opponent closes their eyes, to which they comply. He then removes his mask, the opponent looks, and he says "Boo!". They scream and run off as Scorpion giggles.

Sektor:

Sektor's chest opens, and a barbeque comes out. He places a slab of steak on it and proceeds to cook it for the opponent with his flamethrowers, burning it by mistake.

Shang Tsung:

Shang transforms into a sumo wrestler, throws some salt, takes his wrestling stance, and chases the opponent out of the arena. The sumo resembles E.Honda to poke fun at Street Fighter.

Sheeva:

Sheeva takes out some knitting needles, and begins to quickly nit together a bright red jumper for her opponent. Upon completion, she realises she has knitted four arms rather than two (but when done on another Sheeva player, she knits two arms)

Sindel:

A spotlight shines on Sindel as she makes a microphone materialise and begins to sing power ballads for the opponent for a private concert. The opponent claps and cheers as she performs.

Skarlet:

Skarlet turns away from the camera, and re-emerges with two Bloody Mary's for herself and her opponent to drink. They have a toast before begining to drink their cocktails.

Smoke:

Smoke vanishes as a magic lamp appears on the floor. The opponent picks it up, examines it, and Smoke emerges from the lamp in a Genie outfit.

Sonya:

Sonya blows a whistle and both herself and the opponent start to do some push ups on the floor. The opponent gets tired, gives up, and Sonya laughs triumphantly as she wins.

Stryker:

Styker pulls out a gun, and aims it at his opponet. He then pulls the trigger, and it shoots a squirt of water in their face. He laughs as they squirm from the water before patting them on the back.

Sub-Zero:

Sub-Zero blasts the floor with ice, and it spreads, creating a little ice-rink. He skates past the opponent happily, and as they try catch up with him, the slip on the ice and fall on their ass, throwing a small tantrum after they've landed.

Sindel: Tosses a hairbrush at the opponent. Camera zooms in on opponent staring at the hair brush with Sindel off screen. Gigantic pile of Sindel hair falls on the opponent and knocks them off their feet. FRIENDSHIP!

Mileena: Scratches her chin like in her fatality, then does some terrible dance with flailing arms and bouncy feet, stops, then runs off the screen. Opponent is bewildered. FRIENDSHIP!

Kitana: 'summons' a lawn chair from thin air, plops down and lets her gut hang out. She fans herself and wipes sweat from her forehead, then offers the opponent some iced tea while huffing like an asthmatic. FRIENDSHIP!

Kintaro(just for fun): Grabs the opponent and squeezes them while they struggle. He glares angrily at them and stops. Then continues and begins bathing them with his tongue.

Stryker: He just simply stands there next to the opponent and a Phillies fan runs across the stage. Stryker tazes him to the ground as he sits there shaking.

Freddy Krueger - he turns into his pot-smoking centipede creature and offers you a hit

Jade - Jade tosses her boomerang and it picks up a flower offscreen and she hands it to the opponent

Kano - he pulls out 2 little mirrors and shoots an eye beam into one which riccochets and he catches it with the other and plays his own style of Classic Pong with it

Kitana - She does everybody's favorite her classic but-shake-birthday cake; but hands it to them right after kissing it and it blows up like her MK2 fatality in their face getting it everywhere.

Liu Kang - He drops a MK1 machine down, and plays it doing his own Fatality on the Original Pit Stage with a Double Flawless Victory, you can see it in the background.

Nightwolf - Calls the Spirit World like previously stated, would be amazing

Noob Saibot - Does a mirror dance with his clones making a human centipede and stuff like that

Rain - He forms a hot tub out of a puddle-port-puddle and they get in

Reptile - A bee lands on the opponent and they swat at it panicing then Reptile uses his tongue to catch it and saves the day.

Shang Tsung - He summons a Carousel of Souls

Sheeva - She does jumping jacks that

Sindel - she puts on a hairshow; first she spins in place morphing her hair and its an afro, then a beehive, etc.

Smoke - He makes laughing gas

Stryker - Water Gun also like previously stated, for sure, that one hit the spot

Sub Zero - Makes an MK Dragon Symbol out of Ice

Friendships would be a great addition for UMK9 :D.

Jade - Clearly she needs to expand on her pole dancing.

Mileena - Offers a teddy bear. There is no alternative.

Kitana - Fans herself and blows a kiss to her opponent.

Sub-Zero - Creates a snow cone for the opponent, who then licks it.

Scorpion - Pulls his enemy over with his spear, only to give them a hug

Ermac - Uses his telekinesis to control them for a moment, causing them to fear for the lives, only to make them do a dance.

Reptile - Turns invisible, causing the opponent to become nervous and look around frantically. He then appears next to the opponent and does a "boo!" motion with his hands and face.

Smoke - Lights blunt and breathes the smoke in their face, causing the enemy to get contact high.

Noob Saibot - He and his clone grab the opponent and throw them up and down in a "hip hip hooray" fashion.

Sektor - Shoots fireworks out of his chest that explode in the air. The enemy looks up and claps.

Nightwolf - Pulls out a wolf pup, and shows it to the opponent, who then pets it.

Jax - Pounds the ground causing the opponent to fly high in the air. They scream as they fall but he catches them in his arms.

Cyrax - Does the robot.

Kung Lao - Pulls a rabbit out of his hat. (This is classic and should not be altered)

Sheeva - Walks over to the opponent and picks them up in a friendly hug, possibly squeezing a bit too hard, causing them to gasp for breath and kick their legs.

Stryker - Holds a gun up to his enemy's head, only for a flag with the word *POW* to appear when fired.

Baraka - Throws bunch of meat and veggies in the air, and catches them on his blade, creating a kabob. He takes a bite and offers some to his opponent, who is less than thrilled to eat it.

Sindal - Takes out a microphone and begins to sing into it, causing the opponent to hold their ears and act as if they have a headache. She look as them and frowns.

Johnny Cage - Signs a picture and gives to the opponent. He then turns to the camera and says "Oh Yea!" and smiles. In the background you can see the opponent drop the picture on the ground and walk away shaking their head.

I'm too lazy and drunk to do more, lol. I totally support their inclusion in the next iteration, though.

I've always loved Friendships.

Considering that they actually made Babalities interesting and awesome, I am even more excited about the possibility of seeing Friendships return for the next game.

I have a couple of ideas for some, but, I'll come back and share them later. Good job with the fun contributions, you guys!

Kintaro

Strike!: Pins appear behind the opponent. Two ways it could go.

1) Kintaro goes off-screen, tears someone's head off, and throws it in the pins.

2) Jumps high in the air, lands on the opponent, and throws him/her in the pins.

ROAR!: The friendship theme plays, the words appear on the screen, but Kintaro suddenly attacks the opponent, abruptly interrupting the theme, roars, and stomps the friendship logo repeatedly.

Baraka
Raises his left hand in the air. A violin appears, and Baraka plays the friendship theme with his right blade.

Shao Kahn
Three pillars rise from the ground. Another one forms itself on top of them, followed by flowers growing out of it. Shao Kahn waters them, humming the friendship theme.

Khrome - Starts doing graffiti with a load of cans of chrome spray paint, on a wall that erects out of the ground. He/she tags, does a throw up, does a piece, which turns out to be the MK Dragon logo, then maybe starts breakdancing or popping. Then finally he/she (the character) sprays the camera lens, leaving the view blinded with the silvery-like spray paint.

Got a feeling the dance part has similarities to something that may've been done before, but not the painting.
