Maybe if they would release footage consistantly the fans wouldn't be as inclined to leak it. Whatever. I think it's a good thing. Maybe they'll know to change human smoke.

So that's the way he talks to the people who are gonna buy his game? What the Hell is wrong with this guy?
This isn't the music industry, whether all of the information leaks or not, I'm still gonna fork out $60 dollars for your unfinished game, and then 10 more for the rest in the form of DLC. smfh

To answer your question, certain individuals leaked material from the game. That's what's wrong with this guy. And technically, Hector wasn't talking to the consumers. He was making a statement on the situation in the form of a Tweet. It wasn't directed at anyone. Sure, it can be argued that his remark wasn't a good PR move. But haven't you ever had moments where you expressed dissatisfaction over something negative you didn't like? Give the man a break. He's only human and bound to make mistakes just like the rest of us. Personally, I'm glad he had the balls to say what he did because he is more than justified.

Looks good I'm still excited about human smoke, and I like cyber sub zero's look. I wonder how he'll be in game, I hope he's faster then the regular sub zero.

I'm dissapointed in the way the select screen has been ordered, It doesn't look right, Should switch some of the characters around, notably Smoke and Ermac.

Two Cyber-Sub-Zeros? I would've prefered the Random Icon or a DLC Icon which opened another character select bar...

Oh well I'm 95% satisfied with the final roster.

Quan Chi looks a bit cartoony, Lazy they took his MK vs DCU look. Well without giving it a aesthetic update anyway...

I never knew the select screen of Mortal Kombat had any order other then in recent titles with Scorpion being in the default position usually in the top left and everyone is just randomly scattered around.

The Reason this leak is bad!

1. Cyborg Sub-Zero is causing me to secreting resent Cyborgs again.. i dread Cyborg Sub-Zero
2. Smoke look fucking retard. Like a Back To The Future Doc/ Albert Einstein Reject
3. Noob Saibot is officially a Noob, Thanks to Ed and Noob's pal Shadow Aka Saibot.
4. Some characters in the story also get fucked over in this game. Need i go on?

The plus side of the leaks are the pics and screens... some of them are really good. Especially the Vs pics

It doesn't matter if he had this uncontrollable anger, the way he acted was TOTALLY unprofessional. I don't know why it's of ANY concern to him if I see the game a month before it release. I'm still going to buy it, and if anything, since I'm posting all of this stuff on some friend's facebook, I'm helping promote it.
Nothing bad is coming from these leaks because all the leaks have shown that the game is not going to disappoint.

I think you're slightly confused. All of those things would be happening regardless of whether the information was leaked or not. I don't understand how any of those points make for a valid argument that the leaks were a bad thing. I think what you're trying to say is "The Reason this game is bad!"

I really don't care for SMOKE's appearance at all! He looks very old. I think NRS should cover his head with the ninja hood again. Cyborg Sub-Zero looks pretty cool though.

Personally, I think Smoke looks great. His costume seems to be the closest to UMK3. And to be honest, we've only ever seen Human Smoke in MK2 and UMK3/Trilogy (and I suppose MKD, but I'm not sure that counts).

What did everyone expect him to look like? I suppose we all had pre-conceived notions regarding Human Smoke, but none of us have actually seen Human Smoke unless he was a palette-swapped ninja.

This new look is different (perhaps even radical to some), but I think it differentiates Smoke a great deal from the other ninjas.

I for one look forward to seeing his playstyle too. smile

Just clarifying to anybody who seems to have perceived this the wrong way.

The material is not, and never was mine. I just so happened to be one of the first users to come across it. I am the same as all of you in this.

@MKUtweets on twitter is where I followed the majority of the links. I personally had nothing to do with anything along the lines of actually ripping or obtaining the information. These actions are completely unknown to me, or who it was that did them.

Just a regular user guys.

I already said in my previous post that his remark wasn't a good PR move. But to say it was "uncontrollable anger" is an exaggeration. Nothing in his tweet indicated he was angry. Besides, no one can accurately determine someone's emotions from a wall of text.

You say it's none of his concern if you see the game before it's released. But it can be argued it's none of your concern what he chooses to say on his Twitter account. If you didn't like what he had to say, you had the simpler option of moving on and not giving it a second thought.

This is not just about you. You may be okay with the leaks, but there are others out there who accidentally stumbled upon them, which seems to be who Hector was showing concern for.

I stand by my opinion. I'm on his side. And I wouldn't blame Ed if he wasn't that nice about it either.

Yeah, I understand that he has the right to say what he will, but he can bleed for attacking people who are paying for his game. I don't think he gives a damn about the misfortune of people who stumble upon the spoilers, he's just afraid that it might interfere with the game's final numbers.

Now a MUSIC artist who's upcoming album leaks all over the internet has every right to throw a hissy fit and curse the person who leaked it because that can actually cost the record company millions of dollars, but here he is, working in an industry that overprices it's products to oblivion and throws shade because PICTURES from the game and QUOTES from the story were tucked away in the demo that they released.

I have yet to figure out a way to steal the game from the internet and share it in a massive downloading network, so he can sit all the way down and shut his fuck all the way up.

How is it an attack to say it's a disservice to spoil the game for your own personal glory? Anyone who considers that an attack is way too sensitive. I doubt his remark will have an impact on game sales. And sure, his job is more important than fans getting spoiled. But he said in the past that he was a fan before he joined the developers. So I believe on some level he does care about what happened.

God forbid an NRS employee has a complaint. That makes him the bad guy who's going to hurt game sales, even though his comment wasn't directed at anyone. But all the people who bitch and whine about the game on a daily basis (not to mention the people who take it further by making personal attacks against Ed and the rest of the team) get a free pass. I call bullshit.

Edit: nevermind, I really don't feel like checking back everyday for nothing.
I think he was out of line, you think he was justified, obviously we can't force emotions or feelings on one another. Agree to disagree.
