Anyways,I think too,that the new backstory for Kano and Sonya is kinda cool,because they have something BETWEEN them,and Kano is kinda MORE threat to Sonya,because he KNOWS her and "studided all her moves",not just because he killed her partner,fiance or whatever. He is not intimidating to her in MK9 though,as she kicked his butt at the first chance,but for future references this "he used me" story arc is pretty cool IMHO. And I don't even miss Hsu Hao,sorry.

Sorry for basically going MIA... I'm STILL working a few things out. Yeah, it has REALLY not been that easy.

I was re-editing my Jax KOTW to be more... timely... but then got upset enough I just needed to take a long, long, long, long break to calm down.

Weeks later, and I'm still furious.

That being said, I've received some amazing offers and support from a variety of individuals, and, though I don't want to get anyone's hopes up and say anything too binding at this stage, things may work out quite well and the KOTW threads would instead become more than threads but entire featured articles reaching a much larger audience...

... though that may not be at MKO.

Stay tuned; I'm working on images for the Jax thread now, but it may be a while yet. Either way, you'll get an update on what's happening and my KOTW work as things happen. I won't keep you guys in the dark ('cause that'd just be awful), and I'm hopeful things will work out and my readers can get an uncompromised presentation.

If we're talking about Kano, though... thanks for tracking down the card with Kano's bio talking about Sonya's fiance. I thought I remembered reading it, but I hadn't seen info on it in such a long time (not since 1994) that I was starting to believe I had imagined the whole thing.

I have read some of these long character threads and I think they are funny and interesting. I have learned alot about some of the characters that's been posted about, so it would be a shame if it just stopped due to a staff decision like this. There will always be someone who out of jealousy, spite or other motivations tries to limit the creativity of others, but to stop doing what you do because of such people is to let them win. I think you should keep on fighting, because what you do is a good thing and I hope you will continue making these KOTW threads.

I would like to see a Skarlet KOTW thread once as she has won me over with her awesomeness and I would like to see what you have to say about her presented in the same fashion as with the other characters.
