They could do that Frost was kidnapped and turned into cyborg togheter with smoke, best friend and "girlfriend" of Sub-Zero chasing him.

well smoke COULD be human....Afterall he is technically human in the mk1 - mk2 time period. But frost hasnt come into the picture yet....So if she was to become a cyborg...Id probably have it wait until the next game.

Definetly a different idea I could see it beeing a possibilty. But I dont believe they actually said there would be a new cyber boon just used it as an example of things that could be changed. I would love to see smoke stay human and maybe someone else turned cyber stryker or jax prolly wouldnt make bad cybers either they both need something alittle more to their stories.

When did anyone actually say straight out "There will be a new Cybord this time round" instead of "Changes may occur like uh I don't know ...someone may...um become a Cyborg who wasn't one before" When did it change from that to there will be a new Cybord?
On another note. I just would not make much sense if it did happen. Seeing how frost was not discovered until Sub-Zero’s rule in the Link Kuei, and another note in that is it says that he broke tradition doing so which I assume means allowing the admission of a woman into the Lin Kuei someone please correct me if I am wrong; and the other female ninjas...have nothing to do with the Lin Kuei at all.. So I do not see why they would be targeted by a clan that likely knows nothing about them and turned into the Lin Kuei’s Cyber Ninjas

I would love a female cyborg and Frost is a great choice IMO.
Her bein kidnapped and cyborged up could be explained more easily than Jade for example.
I think of the Big Sister on Bioshock 2 when I think of female cyborgs (I know she isn't a cyborg but she looks shweet).

Frost didn't join the Lin Kuei until Deadly Alliance. There's a reason for that. She'd be like 10 years old at this point in time.

That's exactly what we need. A Cyborg chick with boobs that shoot. Not trying to be funny because it's creative, yet simple.

This is really starting to get to me.. They never said straight up that there will bw a cyborg. That seriously has like 100 threads now. I think people really need something new to talk about..

Frost wouldn't make a bad cyborg though, that is if they did it right. Although, I don't see why she'd be in this game at all.

Smoke, Sektor, and Cyrax cover all the bases. I love the cyborgs, but there's no reason to expand that dimension of MK. The three we have now are more than adequate (still doubt Smoke is going to be cybernetic; even if it was a red herring, I doubt the example was picked arbitrarily).

Jade isn't connected to the Lin Kuei, so it wouldn't make sense if she was a cyborg.

Frost was so horribly executed that turning her into a cyborg would just be an insult. If Frost had just been another cryomancer that was otherwise different from Subzero is every single way, she could have been an excellent character.

Instead, she was the Barbie version of Subzero. I realize she was wearing the Lin Kuei uniform and had to look like that, but they made no effort to give her an identity beyond "female ice ninja."

Do we really need a new cyborg character in this series? I'm ok if Frost is added as a robot, but only if her and Sektor are the only 2 cyborgs in this game.

Frost as a cyborg is one of the worst ideas. The MK series has enough cyber ninjas. Even there were going to be another cyber ninja that person should be original in terms of character, story, and fighting moves. Let Frost stay as Frost.

For all we know, Sektor was a girl.
