why would they put "guest" characters in this game.. itd be like a cartoon

None and every reason in the book why to have non MK characters in this.

I always found guest characters to be a lame concept. It didn't work for Soul Calibur or Dead or Alive, so I truly hope that Mortal Kombat will never go down that road.

However... Should I want some character to join in as a guest character, it would have to be B. Orchid from the Killer Instinct series, or anyone from that series actually. There's just something with those dark-skinned women in tight green outfits that I like. XD

or George W. Bush, come to think of it, the ex-president of the U.S. has more charisma than Gaga. In a tag team match with Shao Kahn, he'd probably kick Gaga's teeth in.

Seriously, I think the Emperor from Warhammer 40000 would make a great guest character, he's a blood thirsty, vicious and sadistic son of a bitch without even knowing anything about it. A genocidal leader type with a messiah complex, would be a great secret or hidden character in the game.

Come to think of it, I wouldn't mind slicing Lady Gaga in half.
