This is your problem.

You can't just dump these crazy fucking ideas here like this. They are completely contrary to the characters to the point where it just feels wrong,at least to me. You have to imagine a scenario where these changes would occur. "RAIDEN DID IT" is not good enough,because time travel doesn't work that way.

And they better be some good fucking scenarios,too,because you're talking about complete 180s on all of these characters.

I cant see a main character change but maybe a Stryker or someone like that. this is how I'd change Stryker, is having raiden pre warn main heroes eg kang cage Sonya jax kung lao Sub Zero etc and neglect nightwolf Kabal and stryker.
Nightwolf would realise on his own where he stands Kabal could see Kano then disagree about ending the world and be good, but Stryker could be captured and kahn realizing before stryker realises that he is one of earths great warriors converts him to fight for kahn.
Then again a 180 swerve would take a fair amount of storyline to explain
