Yeah the inside models of the robots confused me a little as well. They look more human than robot. Fully agree with Razor here.

It blows me away they did exactly what we suggested and borrowed from Chris Redfield for Stryker. I think that's proof to me that NRS do listen to their fans. They tried to reinvent the wheel with Armageddon, but all they really needed to do was shine the wheel up.

Glad they based Stryker more like his MK3 self....hated the MKA look.

Cyrax and Sektor are giving off an IronMan vibe after that X-Ray. Its like they're 2 Ninjas who just happen to be wearing IronMan power armor instead of two guys that their organs replaced by motors, blood by oil, and nerves by wiring vibe.

The amount of idiocy occurring on the comments section at IGN is staggering.

Aaaaanyway, this video was a great surprise. I'm glad to see NRS is getting a little more fast and loose with the reveals. I didn't even realize I was seeing Liu Kang until a few seconds after see him. He looks better than he has in years.

True that. I'm not really complaining at all, I'm just kind of surprised/pleased/almost disappointed but not quite/etc. that we've now seen over 75% of the roster, secret characters notwithstanding.

Seeing them and knowing what there all about is what I like the most.Its one thing when we first saw Kung Lao then that Mkast came out with all the combos and it blew us away.I know there are way more u can do with Kung Lao and thats how u tease a character.Seeing Liu Kang just do a X-ray move got me hyped enough now just show me one good combo and I'm good.

Hopefully this will shut all the complainers up. They just showed off Liu Kang for the very first time, as well as a sneak peak at Stryker and Baraka. Also, first gameplay of Ermac and Goro. People should be happy.

Don't count on it....this thread wasn't even up that long before someone made a thread talking about how horrible the marketing was because they showed characters without properly introducing them.

No, as long as there is stuff that isn't shown and kept away, people will still complain, because people feel a natural sense of some kind of entitlement.

The video is great though. Some very cool X-ray moves, as well as a few glimpses of characters in action. Ermac probably has one of my favorites at the moment along with Goro and Cyrax.

Not quite up on my top cringe factor. Which probably means that is is pretty high despite that.

The spiky armor pads on Goro is barely noticable. I really don't know what to think of this Goro, proportionally his MK1 incarnation is the only one that appealed to me.

Stryker's skeleton will be an interesting add to the cast, infact, I think Stryker's skeleton will be top tier in both dealing out damage, and in both being the funniest to abuse. Either way, Stryker's skeleton is already a fan favourite.
