Part of me thinks the region lock is b.s. There's no point in one. There's a reason why games have region online settings! Enforce it, don't region lock it.

But then I forgot that this game will support 2 on 2 online tag matches. Ability of four players at once. I don't think that's ever been done before, offline yeah, but online? And with a console to themselves, one out of the four people is bound to have a shitty connection. I heard countless of times of bad online experience in the recent MK games. So netcoding for this could be something.

So if Region Lock is false, I'm trying so hard to figure out how would such a false info even get mention? How can you misunderstand and fuck up that you hear the words "online will be region locked"?

Me personally, out of all this, I don't even care, most of my game time is gonna be casually offlining it with my friends. But fortunately for everyone else, the region lock is not true.

And him "confirming" that the leaked bio/ending is true, which I don't understand why would someone confirm such a thing. I would had just let people speculate on that. I didn't read the leaked bio/ending because part of me is hoping it's some guy having fun writing fan fiction shit. But I guess you can't deny facts?

Hector wouldn't randomly confirm secret characters or massive leaks in an interview. Anyone that's watched a single one of his interviews or the MKast should know this. He is proud of this game and wants us to discover these things for ourselves just like Boon and WB.

All that's happening is a bunch of weird mistranslations stoking the fires after a leak from the demo.

I doubt Sanchez will lose his job...maybe a slap on the wrist but that's about it. Look at it this way, at least you didn't hack a demo and posted the entire story mode, roster, move list, and bios/endings. Just be careful next time because you know MKO, any piece of information can erupt into a huge shitstorm overnight.

So what I'm gathering here is that the guy is trying to cover up for confirming things that we basically know are in the game from various sources.

In other words, they are insulting our intelligence and attempting to make us buy the whole "lol just kidding" or "lol i was drunk" approach. I realize the guy might feel bad for saying things he shouldn't have, but all it did was provide some confirmation to things that were already heavily speculated on and practically known.

What's the big deal?

The only thing that had me concerned was the region lock since I plan to play this heavily with a friend across the country, but otherwise this seems to be turning out to be the greatest MK game ever made and I am highly anticipating its release.
