Anyone wanna have to hit forward, forward, down, forward High Punch during a combo?
When I say semi-universal, I'm referring to Street Fighters method of having most Supers performed with quarter-circles and simultaneous button presses (and of course, the charging inputs, but those are a little less common).
Or would you rather x-ray moves be completely unique? Maybe not as complicated as the above example, but you get the idea. Each route will certainly affect how I utilize the moves in-game.

I hope they're unique to each character, it'd be too easy for people to win with unfamiliar character's if they already know everyone's super special.
I also hope they're hard to input considering how damaging they are.

I wouldnt mind if they where a universal thing, like bone brakers in MK4... they where pretty much cool grabs.
But i honestly doubt they'll be universal, doesnt Sektor's start w a teleport? it wouldnt make sense if it was a universal combo.

I'm not sure I see the point in trying to guess button presses when the game doesn't come out until almost a year from now...
But I imagine they'll be unique to each character, judging from the way many of them behave like special moves.

I would rather them be unique. More powerful x-ray attacks need to have a more difficult input, while weaker ones may not. Cage's parry x-ray command can't be that difficult because you would need to quickly act to an opponents attack, while sektor's powerful teleport would need to take a little skill to pull off (especially since it can be combined into a combo).

I don't know if it will stay the same in the final game, but in the E3 build the X-ray moves were done by pressing throw and block at the same time (RB+RL in the 360 version and R1+R2 in the PS3 version).

I hope they change that. That sounds too user-friendly. I'm all for unique button combinations. Plus, thats the exact button combination for rage.....and that annoyed me.

Oddly enough. I never had a problem with the Rage, Block/Grab. Maybe because I play on PS3 controller which isn't as problematic as a 360 controller.

Well he doesn't have a mouth to eat or drink with so I'm gonna guess he runs on some sort of fuel like the oil he has for blood instead of human digestion.
See this? I'm giving a serious answer to a joke question. This is why you need limits on what you will and won't discuss. Sanity. I have less. Don't be like me.
