"The playability of bosses was also a topic, considering that we didn't see the bosses on the character select screen. While there will be certain modes in the game that will allow you to play as the powerful boss characters, they will not be balanced for competitive play. They are purposefully designed to be difficult and unfair, and more importantly unique as they all have their own move set. So, unfortunately, they won't be selectable for competitive play in any capacity."

Great find.

That was an excellent read.
Personally id love to story mode chapters for characters that didn't get one
and a 3rd fatality for those who didn't get one

Scarlet?

Some bland nobody instead of Frost or Nitara?

lol that was funny

I LOL'd too. I mean Scarlet hasn't even been officially premiered and this chick is claiming she's a "b;land nobody" when the other two characters she named are nothing but throwaway piss-poor half-assed characters with faulty concepts.

As someone who liked both Frost and Nitara, I feel I have to respond with a polite: Get Bent.

All MKDA-MKA characters have their upsides and their downs, and everyone has opinions on which handful they like and dislike. Just because someone would rather see one of them return over a new character we know nothing about is no reason to berate their choices.

These two BY FAR are NOT the worst of the lot.

I'm willing to give Skarlett a chance, but I would be more than satisfied to see Nitara and Frost return.

The team mostly kept their mouth shut about DLC, and with good reason. They assured us that absolutely no DLC for the game will be on disk. Every single DLC character, costume, stage, or whatever that comes out after the game's release will be have been developed after the game was complete.

See I call BS on that...

No matter HOW much NRS keeps SAYING this to please thrifty fans who want to feel they're not getting ripped off... It's already untrue. Skarlett's model is on the disc. Period. Done. Thanks mam. End of story.

Sure, a 100% complete version of her playable character probably isn't, but she's in the story mode cutscenes, and the storymode cutscenes are constructed using Gameplay models.

Her development began BEFORE the game was complete.

It may not have been finalized or even began full steam, but there was still enough time devoted to her for concept art, choosing a final look, and creating a high quality model which made it onto the game disc... and we all know this was happening months before the game went gold... we all saw that leg. :P

At the very least she counts as a pre-developed costume on the disc... if not a full-fledged character.

Which is what makes me skeptical about the Klassic costumes.
