If you have a computer from anytime in the last 5-7 years thats even less than halfway decent you should be able to run it on Steam. You'll have to buy it from a 3rd party site and they send you the code which you can redeem on Steam. Otherwise, a disc copy for XB360 or PS3 is the only option. It's also on the PS Now service for PS4/PS5, if you want to use the trash Dual Shock controller to play an MK game that is. Here's the link to the Steam version from a legit site G2A:

Have you got this? And it works online? And is there a Large online Player Base? If yes ill be sure to get it when im paid and leave a review right here on the forum. Cuz at this point i dont even got a PC lol. Knowing Me i'll probably go all out and get an expensive VR ready gaming PC.

I do have this version on Steam and it does work really well. The online lobbies are still open and active on the PC version, but I haven't seen a single person inside a lobby in 2 years, so they're dead. The PS3, Xbox 360 and PS Vita versions are all shut down for online servers, I had all 3 of them back in 2019 when they shut them down. It runs the smoothest on PC and best part you can use an Xbox Series X controller to play it instead of the janky PS dualshock controllers or older Xbox 360 controller.

I'll sit in that lobby all day and night waiting for ppl to play against lol. They need to get mk9 up and running for backwards compatibility on consoles though... Like who cares if it doesnt have Freddy Krueger or whatever character is making it not playable just sell it without those characters.
