Jax....
I'd rather they tried to go back to the original Jax look but put Camo pants on him instead of the purple/black stripe thing. Would be cool they could use the blue camo and the desert camo as well for alternate colors. I love how the characters look so far for the most part but I wish they'd kinda tone down the cartoony big arms Scorpion and Sub Zero have and try to make them look a bit more realistic. When you watch scorpions victory pose in the E3 video his arms just look overly inflated and there isn't much of a shape between the shoulder to the bicep, they just look overly inflated while other characters look like they have slightly more natural looking arms.

I want Jax to do a powerbomb. Is that too much to ask? I think his special moves should mostly consist of command throws, with the Gotcha and Ground Punch.
My ideal Jax is MK4 Jax in camo instead of lycra. I never did mind the lycra but now that I think about it, it really doesn't make much sense, so it can go. I love the bionic arms though, I think that's really his main distinguishing characteristic which makes him unique. Without the arms he's... just a strong guy. Feh.
Also it is seriously about time he was given one fatality which is comprised of a slam or throw.

man that would be awesome. Take away his missiles or make them easy to punish and give him some command grabs. He'd be great

I would love Jax to have a more grapples and wrestling-based moveset.
But "no missiles" is a just plain dumb idea. You absolutely cannot have a character in a Mortal Kombat game with no projectile moves and is only viable at extreme close range. They'd be at a terrible disadvantage against everybody else in the game.
The only move he'd have that would be useful at all when everybody else is jumping to the far sides of the screen playing keepaway and throwing fireballs is the ground pound and being forced to use the same move over and over wouldn't be any fun to play.

Jax will most definitely be in.
Thanks to MKvsDC he is one of my top favorites again. He was absolutely brilliant in that game, and that was easily his best look and portrayal.
I can't wait to see how they develop him.
I hope they keep the MKvsDC formula:
1.- Smart, charismatic, loving, and tech-geek.
2.- No gangsta/stereotypical crap.
3.- Not necessarily super tough attitude. It was nice to see him kind of "soft" in MKvsDC, specially in contrast to Sonya who was super tough.

It's not as if Jax doesn't have any other projectiles. If I'm not mistaken, he had quite a few projectiles in MK vs. DC. I'd like to see the return of his Sonic Wave even if it is a rip-off of Guile's Sonic Boom.

I have realised that a lot of my original problems with Jax came from stereotypes that had bogged him down. The pro-USA, stereotypical black guy stuff that MK2 and MK:DA saddled him with, respectfully. Jax will return, but I want him to be the following:
* Intelligent and articulate. Jax is no idiot, and he's not from the ghetto. He's a man with discipline, intelligence and the ability to assess a situation. Jax should not sound like a gimmick everytime he opens his mouth. I want a character that thinks and feels.
* Ruthless. This has been there since about Deadly Alliance, when he ripped the implants out of Hsu Hao. Come hell or high water, if you fuck with Jax he will make you pay. I don't want him to be bogged down by some sort of patriotic desire to be a "better person" than his enemies.
I'd like to see him with metal arms. It sort of became his "thing," and he added them for a reason. "I can kick ass, but I could kick more ass with these." You could even use them to send a message on transhumanism. I'd definitely like to see how Sub-Zero would react to Jax's arms in a more thought-out storyline. I always imagined Jax being especially interested in Cyrax because of him being such an advanced cyborg.
It'd be cool to see his Arm Rip and Head Clap Fatalities combined together into one really gruesome one, too.
