I was very much torn when the first two were announced on wether or not I was going to collect all of these. Financially I had to decide between buying these every month or 2 vacations for 2012. As much as it pained me to do, I decided to only buy my absolute favorites. In the end though it worked out quite nicely since they are doing 2 different scales and busts. My idea of having a complete roster all to scale most likely won't happen anyway now with Ermac and Rain being 18" and Shao Kahn being only a bust.

IMO just hold out for the ones you REALLY want. In my case I knew Mileena was almost a guarantee buy as long as they got a nice pose for her. Hopefully if they decide to do Reptile he'll be a few months after Skarlet since she's next on my list.

Also, to the guy wondering about Kitana, I forgot that they have to get Raiden out yet. So with Scorpion/Sub Zero not til end of this month or December, that puts Raiden in late December-January most likely and Kitana after that. Could be a while yet.

Hopefully you'll be able to afford them and get more.

Sonya's statue might force you to this.

We'll have more information on characters and polls in the very near future. There's currently a new poll up concerning Sycos' Sonya Statue, check it out!

As for poses suggestions and polls for the trio of females (if you are referring to Mileena, Kitana, Jade, or Sonya and maybe Sindel), no, sorry. Their poses are what they are or have been already decided.

However, you can expect some of that for future releases of some of the remaining characters.

Maybe im wrong, but I feel alot of people are voting for the 18" because its bigger, but the people voting aren't necessarily going to buy it. Much more expensive and takes too much space imo.

If Sonya 18" is made I hope there's a 10" variant like they did for Sub...

We are in luck because we can officially confirm that there are 2 Sonya Blade Statues on the way!

A special and exclusive one featuring her Alternate Costume and the other one featuring her Primary Costume.

An 18" Sonya statue will be made along side the 10" Sonya statue.

Sycocollectibles said on their facebook page that an official pole was up for Sonya and voting but I don't see it. Any word on that?

Also, glad to hear about multiple sizes of the same character. Any chance Ermac and Rain will be revisited in the 10" scale? The fact that they are 18" is the single reason I passed on Sub-Zero and Scorpion. Knowing I won't be able to have a complete set of male ninjas all to scale kinda killed it for me. On the flip side it's the driving reason why I decided to get all the female ninjas.

I ́m surprised how many fans voted for Mileena in the last poll. In fact, she tied with Scorpion in the first place of potential buyers!!

Thanks and I agree, at maximum, two will be the amount I get and as you said, everyone isn't getting a statue of the same type, some might get 18 and 10, while others might just get a bust or one or the other.


Mileena's primary one does look rather nice, that was a great choice.


I doubt we'll be seeing Sheeva sadly, so I'm going to most likely go with Stryker and possibly Jade or Sonya (may have to flip a coin lol).

Syco definitely wants to tackle all the costumes. They want to do more than one statue for most characters, but, for now, only a few selected characters will be featured with both of their costumes or in 2 statues. That way they can have the time and room to cater to all the fans by sculpting most of the cast.

The ones who don't get a second costume or second statue might get it later in the line after they tackle most of the cast.

Sycocollectibles said on their facebook page that there would be a poll on MKO to vote on Skarlet's pose for the sculpt. Any word on that queve?

I was mainly interested in that one since they usually go with official art work/renders for the pose, but Skarlet's main render is just to gentle for her character personality, the one where she is kinda stepping forward with one hand gripping the sword on her back. I suggested her opening fight pose where she has the one open palm in front of her face holding the blade in the other, and slightly crouched in an attack stance. Matches her savage and vicious personality much better IMO, and I would think a poll would show this as well.

Are they ever going to reveal Kahn's statue or what?
