When smoke was captured they turned him to a cyborg.
For this game, they would probably have smoke as a cyborg by default and a human as an alt.
Well the actual quote referred to someone becoming a cyborg that DID NOT become one in the original timeline. So Smoke doesn't count toward that hint since he was turned into a cyborg in the old time line.
