Netherrealm Studios Releases Brutal Justice Trailer!

Following the North American release of Mortal Kombat on April 19th, a new trailer featuring Kurtis Stryker has surfaced.

This trailer is in some ways similar to Johnny Cage's "Fight Dirty" trailer from a few weeks ago in that it is presented in a voice over narration style coupled with gameplay and story mode scenes. Within the trailer, Stryker shows off his updated look visually and technically. With a dazzling display of weapons including his classic aerial bombs and handgung along with new additions in his taser and flashlight, Stryker brings Brutal Justice to whomever he meets as foe!

Wonder why they waited until after the game was released to show this. Regardless, it was fucking awesome, GO STRYKER!!!

This should have been revealed so many months ago instead of that extremely lame reveal we got of him (an obscure sad screenshot in some Magazine....ugh).

Anyway, the trailer is very cool. Check out Stryker and try to tell me you still don't like him:

Stryker is a badass and you all know it!

I was extremely pleased with this character throughout the game. He is not only one of my favorites to play with, he is also one of my favorites in storymode. His ending was hilarious and the details were awesome, but, its a shame it was more like a "joke" than something serious and deep. He deserved a serious ending...

It felt like the kind of stuff they used to do with Johnny Cage. After his portrayal I expected something a bit more promising than a joke, but, despite that disappointment, I liked the ending for what it is.

Yeah, these sort of videos definitely should have been how they revealed characters the entire time.

And lets painfully remember all the unreleased and forgotten HQ renders and characters who still have a big fat 0 reveal.
