I and J are the fucking best concepts!Fuck the rest.

Sublime as the new MK is, it could definitely make use of character customisation! Just imagine dressing your Rain in whatever clothes you see fit;)

Even though I hate characters customization as it kills the originality of the designs and make them look generic inngeneral , I would love to see it get done by covering a serious and very limited set of choices that covers the concept arts created for each character.

With that said , I am sure I'll hate the idea ..

I find the costume they chose for him as his best overall.

While I and J concepts have a cooler head design (the hair is really cool, and the mask) I really really dislike the "watery arms". It just reminds me too much of Sub-Zero's "frozen arms" from 3D era and I find that as Subby's trademark and don't want others having something similar. Besides, I prefer more "humanish" looking Rain.

So yeah, a head design from I and J concepts plus the rest of his current costume would have been awesome, but I'm pleased with what we got anyway.

Yeah, I see your point but take Kitana for example. I wouldn't find her alt costume that unappealing were it not for her face . If I could put a mask on her face or have heels instead of those nasty flat shoes in her MK2 and UMK3 costumes I'd be blisfully happy:) And I'd let Rain have his ponytail without ppl thinking he was camp.

Costume G minus the giant weave wouldve been so much more appropriate for him to wear. He's Edenian for fucks sake! He should wear barely anything!
