I want to hold hope for Rain...but they said if you have a favorite from the old game they'd probably be in, if i had to pick a couple characters from MKT that wouldn't make it, it would have to be Rain and Sheeva, and I think the MK team agrees since there is a lot of background Rain, but nothing confirmed, not even through audio leaks, and Sheeva has just had no mention. Im okay if thos two dont make the cut, they cant have everyone from MKT in the game, at least not right off the bat. Storywise they just arent that important

Just because Rain appears in the background of an arena doesn't mean he's not in the game as a playable character. There are confirmed playable characters appearing in the backgrounds of arenas.

I still think that more likely than not we'll see everyone from Trilogy(minus Chameleon and Khameleon) in this game.

But, Sheeva is important, especially since we know for a fact that Sindel is in. I mean, it was Shao Kahn appointed Sheeva to protect and watch over the newly resurrected queen. I guess you can say they can easily axe her, but too me, she should return. Mostly because I think she deserves another shot.

If Stryker is in If Goddamn Kratos is in this game then Sheeva and Rain should be in too. if not from the start at least as DLC.

And I just had "that dream" yesterday about the new fighters (check the thread called new dream sindel reveal)

Great point. The three major contenders for this were Sindel, Sareena, or a new character under the 'Skarlet' identity. Now with Sindel out of the running; that very likely proves we have another non-original trilogy character in the game.

Maybe the website is not that great but the magazine itself is one of the biggest in Europe. In fact they had first review of Heavenly Sword in the world and many other exclusives.

sadly, i think all these "hints" showing rain in his armageddon are pretty much ruling him out. we keep on seeing him in backgrounds wearing his armageddon outfit, just like we've seen daegon, li mei, etc and we know they wont be in the game.

but holy fuck, ermac looks awesome. im actually over kratos being in the game due to his awesomness too. sindel....meh, i really wish she'd have been more clothed, i mean isnt she a bit old to be dressed like mileena/kitana? sonya somehow looks different as well, but dont know why...?
