PAL Mortal Kombat Kollector's Edition now available to Pre-Order at GAME!

UK based gaming retailer GAME now have the Mortal Kombat Kollector's Edition available for pre-order. The date of release is the same as the standard editions of the game being Thursday 21st April 2011.

The content's of the European Mortal Kombat Kollector's Edition are as follows:

* The Game
* A Figurine
* An exclusive SteelBook™
* A collectible 110+ Art book
* DLCs including an exclusive Ermac retro classic costume skin and various avatar costumes.

Retailing for £49.99 GBP ($80.84 USD), the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 versions are now ready for pre-ordering over on GAME's website.

Whilst the Official Mortal Kombat website lists another two UK-based retailers Amazon UK and Gamestation as being retailers for the Kollector's Editions, Amazon UK and Gamestation have not yet updated their databases with the ability to pre-order the Kollector's Edition's. Once they do however, we shall endeavour to deliver the news!

Unfortunately the US Kollector's Edition comes without the Steelbook casing.

and this only gives ermac skin....

Sucks either way wish we could jst get all the retro costumes and extra fatalities all in the collectors edition instead of getting it from a specific area

Those skins come only with the Standard version of the game. Amazon are yet to put up the Kollector's Edition.

i think i might just get it from play.com with the guide as its now 20% off

because if i get the amazon version and then theres a dlc pack for retro skins and its like scorp, subby, ermac, and Reptile and i already have 2.. it will be kinda annoying

i think then there will be a kitana, jade and mileena retro pack DLC

This is what I am saying. Right now, the only place you can get the Kollector's Edition in the UK is from GAME.

Amazon currently only offer the Standard version which comes with the additional skins and fatalities.

So considering all the skins and the like will eventually be available via DLC, you may aswell invest in the KE given it's more robust features.

I've checked GAME's website and it mentions nothing of the Steelbook. It doesn't even show it in the picture they have up either. I'm hoping it is included!

How random would that be if they didn't include it?

gameplay.co.uk are showing it for pre order but I dont think its legit, I think they saw GAME have it so copied them thinking all stores are getting it.

Looks like i'm swapping my pre-order back over from Amazon to GAME. £10 extra for a statue, artbook, steelbook and still 1 retro ninja DLC costume is definitely worth it. Besides, i'll probably end up with the Sub-Zero costume from a DLC pack anyway!

I'm just curious in regards to ordering this stuff, I have a quick question that might sound a bit silly but I never really order on online so excuse my ignorance.

I'm living in Dublin at the moment, and I want to order the standard edition with the Kitana outfit from Amazon.co.uk. Will that copy of the game still work on my Xbox console despite it being an English copy of the game or does it still work? It's just I'm aware that some games dont play outside of their own regions and as daft as it might sound I've never bought a game that's not international. You see I'm tempted to get this for a friend but if it wont work there'd be no point buying it.

If your pre-order either version from instore at GAME we give you Scorpions Klassic costume and his Toasty fatality, Mileena's Klassic costume and Jade's Klassic costume. Confirmed today!! Not 100% what bonuses the online site are offering.
